If Spiderweb, however, could be mass produced and made into large, 4 inch wide cables...

He's called the Nightsurfer, man. Raimi said it himself in an interview of some sort.
And in a trailer, the last six seconds depict a very vicious and creepy-looking thing that has white ghost eyes, large teeth, a slender toung, and a xeno screech. Woo-hoo! It's Venom!
In a Spider-man 4 that has a 3% chance of happening, Carnage might be in it, just because of the fact that Venom is in 3.
Believe me, Venom will fight Spidey in this movie. His fingers, tentacles, and oozing symbiote parts can be seen in various shots of the movie, like when Peter's mask is off and he reaches up -- Venom's finger can be vaguely seen at the right-tip of the whatever-it-is. Also, Peter's mask is torn. I don't think he would do that to his mask for no reason.

| I hope Cletus is in it too. It would make more sense than what the Ultimate Spiderman series did... |

I'm also hoping that we get to see Venom and Carnage fight. That would make my cinematic highlight. _________________ Only the strongest will survive.

That wish, for me, has already been fulfilled when I fought the Ultimate Carnage as Ultimate Venom in Ultimate Spiderman.
A real-looking fight would be awsome though. It would probably even beat the Spider-man Vs. Doc Ock battle. |

Raimi said he wouldn't be Green Gobling nor the Hobgoblin, which is some other wacko in the 90's cartoon. And Sandman didn't even appear in that series, leaving newer fans in complete "holy shit a new guy!' thought.
He said, "This guy is called the Nightsurfer." Sandman was replaced with Hydroman in the cartoon. But he appeared in the 60's cartoon. |

imdb says Eric from That 70's Show is the actor in the Venom suit, which means that Venom and Spidey are definitely two different actors, which means Spidey and Venom will be duking it out... nerd style. _________________

What? Nerd fights are the best, they're like cat fights, but instead of going just for death, its about who dies in the most painful way possible. _________________

These were leaked from the Art of Spider-Man 3 book that Sony is publishing and featured on aintitcool.com. I got the pics from a message board of a comic studio. These are legit.
There's Topher Grace getting all made up. And here's some conceptual stuff and modeling.
Check this link out for a few minutes from the movie.

Well, there's always the chance that much of what we've seen is misleading or incomplete. There will certainly be some CGI stuff thrown in there. _________________ "I do not feel obliged to believe that the same God who has endowed us with sense, reason, and intellect has intended us to forgo their use."

...and body...
I guess you're right. Those six seconds I explained earlier in the thread depicted something with huge eyes, teeth, and tounge... and its scream was horror-filling. It was like Venom was Carnage.
If Carnage ever does make it on the big screen, imagine the thing. It's like Alien meets Saw, but a more graphic version. I know the chances are slim, but these guys have got to get at least Carnage his debut. It will fill us Spidey fans with a holy-shit sensation. |

I would have to say Venom was the best Spiderman villain. And Carnage was Venom's equal and rival. So thus makes him one of the greatest villains as well.
But if he does show up in the film, I would be very, very pleased. _________________ Only the strongest will survive.

| I'd like to see Carnage in action, too, especially with Spider-man and/or Venom. But considering what the series' future looks like right now, I think that's asking a little too much. |

I doubt they'll be showing carnage cutting up people, as he so loves to do.
I miss his shrieky voice and psycho laughter as well.
And yes, venom deffo needs to be bulked up a bit more. _________________ Back in action |

Here's what I was talking about.
You can see that it's real because of the way he's designed.
EDIT: Compare this picture and the last few seconds of this trailer, those two Venom appearances look exactly alike.
Maybe CGI makes the Venom Smiley posted grow his teeth. I don't know. |
