I love MK:D, I even wrote a review for the Ps2 version on gamefaqs.(Feel free to check it out) I am a agressive Baraka player, and I do play online. But Shujinko does infact kick ass, His juggle combo with a bicycle kick finish is just simply put.... PWNage. |
Baraka is the scariest Mofo I have ever seen, seriously if I saw him coming at me with his blades I would piss my self before remembering that I can meke him look comically stupid by pressing right + left + triangle (aka puke AAAAALL over his ugly ass!) |
Inever seen a Bo Rai Choplayer online...every..... And for a change I'll give ya barakas good ole Down + Up + X and make him do the monkey. If you want I'll challenge you online... _________________ "It was really big and scary, like someone taped two ninjas together to make ONE GIANT NINJA!" |

Meh. FFIX is an unsurpassed RPG, even though FFVII and KH were good.

Yeah. So far. There's going to be an official sequel to SM64 on the Wii/Revolution, if you haven't seen the trailers and demos already. |

I'm sorry, but until you've played Earthbound, you cannot say that any RPG is unsurpassed.
I've played many, many, MANY games
(yeah, I'm old school, my bias is toward the pre-nintendo 64/pre playstation/pre dreamcast, sue me)
but regardless, no game I've ever played has ever struck me as being just as much a work of art as a game as Earthbound has.
My only disappointment is how I'll likely never bother to learn Japanese so that I may play Mother 2, the Japanese version of Earthbound.
There's just so much in that game. When you go back and analyze it and all of its myriad quirks and oddities, and realize how many bizarre tricks that the developers play on the player without taking away from how fun it is, it's just mind-boggling.
http://www.largeprimenumbers.com/article.php?sid=mother2
I read this article after playing through the game eight times, and it strikes me as a perfect description of Earthbound. Worth a read. _________________ The official MILF-masta of the AlP forums.

| Well, sorry to say buddy, but in fact, I have played Earthbound, and two words: kick a$$!! But still, when I say unsurpassed, I just mean really, REALLY good. FFIX remains my favorite RPG of all time. Although... Ness is really cool. The hippy enemy struck me as a joke, though. |

Pong.
The first is always the best, because everything else is derivative.
Star Wars was an awesome movie when it came out. But if it came out new, now, in 2006, it would be lame.
--------
I am hardly qualified to make this call, since I was never much of a video game player.
But there is also the fact that I remember when Asteroids was new. So my perspective is way different.
Bah, now I am just rattling. Psh. _________________

I can't decide if It's Donkey Kong (the original), or Fable: The Lost chapters.
In fable, I married and consecutively killed 17 wives in arcane human sacrifice, murdered everyone for the property, owned every house in albion and then went on quests and gave away money until my horns and glowing red eyes turned to angel tinted hair. Then I came back to the same towns I massacred, collected my dough and people cheered my name. The peasants thought I was rehabillitated, I guess.
On the other hand...IT's DONKEY KONG. |

The best game of all time is Baseball.
Hands down, no other game comes close.
I know you were asking about video games, but I am feeling a bit weirder that usual (scary, huh), and I just had to say that Baseball is the bestest game ever ever ever. _________________

They'll pass over the money without even thinking about it: for it is money they have and peace they lack. And they'll walk out to the bleachers; sit in shirtsleeves on a perfect afternoon. They'll find they have reserved seats somewhere along one of the baselines, where they sat when they were children and cheered their heroes. And they'll watch the game and it'll be as if they dipped themselves in magic waters. The memories will be so thick they'll have to brush them away from their faces. People will come Ray. The one constant through all the years, Ray, has been baseball. America has rolled by like an army of steamrollers. It has been erased like a blackboard, rebuilt and erased again. But baseball has marked the time. This field, this game: it's a part of our past, Ray. It reminds of us of all that once was good and it could be again. Oh... people will come Ray. People will most definitely come. |

i never realised how many people here shared my love of oddly specific games. i have all the Myst games. and I've finished all of them. i love total annihilation, and would gladly play someone once i remember where i put the disc. i also really enjoyed the first 2 Simon the sorcerer games, and SAM+ max hit the road. oh, and day of the tentacle is really, really great.
runescape is my favorite game, right next to prey. that one will run on the same computer, at the same time is a tribute to how dedicated i am to playing both old and new. _________________ there once was something funny here.

He's not the only boss that pisses people off,im still trying to find a way to beat that gay onaga without the use of Action Replay MAX(i have one)
Edit:I beat him with liu kang, all you have to do is do liu kang's bicycle kick the whole time, but I think he was designed so only HE could beat him |
