I don't know. It really only becomes an anagram if you add a space to it somewhere, because (correct me if I am wrong) there are no single-word rearrangements of "racecar."
Am I being needlessly anal by counting the space as a character? Probably. _________________ Context is everything. |

Ah, that's more of the response that I was looking for.
It might be moot anyway; in my research, I have noticed that people tend not conserve the number of spaces in a rearrangement. Perhaps a word in isolation can be considered to have an infinite number of spaces before and after it. You know, like an analogy to putting an infinite number of 0s before a number.
And it's silly that we got onto this topic in the first place. Teber's name is not an anagram in the traditional sense (at least it isn't in the English language) because the rearrangement is supposed to be an actual word.
