An update: Crotchfire's Love-Life over the past few months.

It's been some time since I posted on my personal victories and such, so it occurred to me that those of you who enjoy hearing about the strange social lives of others were missing out.

When I arrived in St. Louis, I was in a new, conservative part of the country without the comforts of a woman. Oh, I was lost for a while. As New York is a fairly liberal state, unusual sexual preferences are taken in stride, and such desires may be fulfilled without so much effort on my part (no, I've never paid for sex. I split the dinner bill).

Missouri, however, is smack-dab in the middle of the midwest. Conservative, God-fearin' folk there. Thus, for a while, we had a very frustrated Crotchfire.

Early November, though, I was chatting with a couple who were friends with parents of students of mine at a little school-cocktail-party-thing. After a long and careful conversation (I was wondering why they were being so deliberate with what they were saying), they eventually started hinting that they were involved in the local swinging scene... and the wife (42-year-old attractive exhibitionist) had a thing for sex in public places and the husband had a thing for watching other men with his wife.

If you don't know where I'm going with this, you're truly hopeless.

Anyway, I've been exposed to a whole new subset of the perverse: having sex with wives (in public sometimes) while their husbands watch! Restaurant bathrooms, in the pool at a motel (it looks like she's just sitting on my lap.), that sort of thing. At first, it was only this first couple. The interesting thing about swingers, though, is that if you meet the right ones, you can be exposed to a fairly large social network... just be prepared to travel a lot.

My students wonder where I go on weekends. I tell them I go to the library. Say...

However, as I'm back in New York for the time being, I don't have access to the Missouri swinger network. Then again, I have existing ladyfriends here, so all is well!

There was also initially a plan to go and see "Evil Dead:the Musical" with one particular forum member here, and I'll admit, I was in fact planning on being as charming as I can be... but she mysteriously disappeared. Maybe I scared her away? Hope not.

Anyway, met up with some ladyfriends, and then there was tonight. I made out with the hottest woman ever, interesting, funny, pretty face, and Oh My God, what legs she has! She's also 40. Date scheduled for Sunday evening!

I encourage all threads that make people look up pictures of Freud's mother. I really do.

As much as I'm not into swinging, (I had an interesting offer from an English/Norse couple while in Indonesia, but politely declined, althoug the Norse women of 44 looked decidedly hot), I somehow learned to appreciate Crotchfire's reports about his adventures between (and nowadays away from) the sheets. They are inspiring.

I would not be able to handle the male onlookers, though.
