Christmas is finally here!!! Christmas is especially good if you're birthday isn't like the day afterwards, because you're not as important as Jesus. But with Christmas, besides all the religious significance I'm sure this holiday holds for all of you, comes the opportunity to give presents to family, friends, and loved ones. As for me, I'm undecided on what I want, but at least I know what I'm getting for my brother and my dad (which leaves me with the two ladies to shop for  ). For my brother I'm getting him some Adidas Gil Zero B-Ball Kicks that look something like this. This is the trademark shoe of franchise player and fourth leading scorer in the NBA, Gilbert Arenas, of my hometown Washington Wizards.
For my dad I'm getting him a self-stirring coffee mug because all his Starbucks mugs break in less than a week because they're poorly made crap. A video of the thing in action can be found here: Absolutely Mesmorizing

You mean you don't even celebrate just for the sake of getting free stuff? Maybe, supposedly, you don't celebrate Christmas, but you can still join in the consumerism extravaganza. This thread is for Gift Ideas, not to celebrate Christmas. If you don't celebrate Christmas and know about something cool you own or have an idea for the forum, this is the thread for you.

| Well I am so broke this year that I will actually be trying to make all my presents. T-shirts, paintings, maybe a photography print but that's about all I can offer. I suppose I could buy the cheapest tie going and do that up to try and get that tacky Christmas feel going. |

Yeah, I'll probably end up making Christmas presents too. I'm thinking sparkly stuff for the girls on my list, with ribbons and fuzzy appendages (possibly with a vibrating function as well  ) and time machines for the guys. Time machines? you ask. I want an Xbox 360. I already have a Nintendo WII and its awesome, but I just want to kill people in Gears of War. Oh and a new phone...and some clothes. Maybe the special edition DVD of Hellsing:Ultimate. That's it! ^_^
I'm getting my brothers DS lites and games to go with it. My sisters got so much shit from me. Like Baby Alives. And Barbies...and other girly shit that you men don't care about. And my mom is getting a nice purse. Because I love her. Lol. I got my baby brother all things Elmo...Just because he's an Elmo freak. I don't know what to get my best friends. They're both girls....and they're both gamers.

I have no idea what to want for christmas or what to buy for my boyfriend. We're going to his family for the christmas and I bought hot water bottle for his parents. It has knitted red cover on it. For my father I bought a pocket flask for cognac and for my mom I bought a big black leather bag. For my friends I made the annual custom cd.
Today we're going to go to this über huge hypermarket, Well I don't think it's huge, anyways It's said to be the biggest in all northern Europe. Let's see if I can find something from there for him. Any suggestions? What to give someone who already has everything? And what to wish for if you have everything but still nothing?
I'm getting philosophic here. What would Tyler Durden do?

I already celebrated Christmas with my roommates, and all was merry and delightful. My parents are so strange. My mom is such a school supporter, that all I have to buy her is a T-shirt or sweater from my current university. My dad is the tough one to buy for since he buys what he needs/wants on-line.  Soooooo, in light of that, I just asked him what he wanted, and he sent me the link to a CD.
As for myself, I don't expect anything from them for Christmas since that gift came as my birthday present, too. New desktop computer with all-in-one printer/scanner.  Suh-weet!
Oh, Spideygirl, is Hellsing: Ultimate the new series that follows the manga more? Haven't heard much about that version of the series. I liked the original (even though it really didn't have a proper ending) especially the music.
P.S. Got all of Gilgamesh from a friend in Houston. *happy dance* |

Hehe... yeah... I actually forgot I said it.
Well, it does cost me a little... I mean, I have to spend all this energy to find the most boring dvd in my dvd collection, then get on the couch with my girlfriend... then watch that movie for half an hour and then walk all the way to my bedroom.
Ok, nevermind, it really doesn't cost much
