I'd have to agree with you'r pal on this one. Alot of the Marvel characters are against takeing another persons life(well the majority anyway). Mortal Kombat people unlike alot of the superheros also have real combat and weapons training. So when it comes down to it, the question should more like "Who won't hesitate to make the death blow?"

Spidey, X-Men, Fantastic Four (Jessica Alba lol!) Hulk, Daredevil, Punisher, Cpt America, Iron Man, Ghost Rider (i don't think there was a Ghost Rider movie yet) - Marvel

Batman, Superman, Flash, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, and above anyone else LOBO!!! - DC

i don't think Wolverine would have a problem giving a death blow ("giving a death blow", oh man, the images these words provoke...) to anyone.
but anyway, Sub Zero would kick everyone's ass.

Ghost Rider movie is coming out....Nic. Cage as Jhonny Blaze.
Ghost Rider vs. Scorpion would be cool...but i think they'll greet each other as brothers though (with that flaming skull and all).

With safely say I mean that in history class we were tought that the Germans lost big time twice in the period of 1914-1945...
