yeah, honey... whatever. I was typing fast and the dogs were barking. They were upset by the racket of the barricades going up in front of my house.

Grrrr.
Although I made nice with a bunch of cops from the Bronx, said they could come knock on my door and use my bathroom or get coffee if they wanted. They were from the 42, 45 and 48. We're here in the 20. (Precincts, that is.)
The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade ( a big deal here in the US, and a pain in the butt ) starts in my neighborhood. Practically on my doorstep.
So - all the police mobile hq are here. The barricades are up. The news crews are fighting over the good spots. They will be bringing the balloons in shortly, and start blowing them up around 4. That's when the hordes of mindless lemmings appear. AAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

Where's Abe & Pres when you need 'em?

Anyhoo, I do sometimes envy all the people that celebrate... practically everything Razz

I mean, Halloween, Thanksgiving... 4th of July... all sorts of stuff I never celebrate. Yeah well, sometimes someone throws a lame Halloween party were everybody just sorta dresses up and drinks a lot...

Aramor corrected the BB code error of Amber Eyez, and then she explained why (typing fast, barricades, noise), and then Aramor asked why there are barricades going up in front of her abode, and she told us all about the Thanksgiving Day parade. This topic was originally about the really cool video about ass plundering pirates, but it went off-topic. I'm totally plundering thanksgiving dinner tomorrow like its 2081.
