okay, so would you believe that one day i was just walking down the street minding my own business and there they are, lying in the middle of the pavement, exactly the titles you listed. of course i took them home, nursed them, and listened to them.
no, sorry but it's simply no.
music-wise i have no objections whatsoever, i agree it is a really high level pop, the compositions are well thought out, the sound is fresh, the musicianship is more than satisfying (i really liked the piano part in "I want a dog" for instance, and also the guitar solo at the end of "Hacienda Version") - all's well on that front. (well, except for Minimal, this was outrageous in all aspects).
but that voice... that voice... i wonder, is it his self-chosen style or is it the only way he can sing?
this guy's voice timbre as well his manner of singing... it's an obstacle i cannot overcome, it makes getting hooked on their sound impossible to me. suffice it to say my favourite part was the female sung passages of Hacienda Version. 
but no one can say i didn't try.

Well, fair enough. I know Neil's voice is not everybody's cup of tea. Basically, what you're saying is that these are very good songs sung by the wrong person. Since I believe Neil's voice is really sweet and lovely, I just think these are very good songs!
Oh, and they have nice album sleeves as well. I especially like the plastic lego cover for Very:
Edit: also I just want to bring it to your attention that Justin Timberlake has completely destroyed his OMG I'm smashing a disco mirroball, look how not gay I am, omfg!!!!11!!!!1TWO.
That wasn't a very smart thing to do, now was it, mr Timberlake?

i think it was a few days ago when i finally found myself sitting through this song start to finish.
and you know what? you're right.
it's awesome. consequently, it only strengthens my conviction that SexyBack was weak.
