I like the original trilogy but I'm not big on the prequels. TPM underwhelmed me and I never bothered to go to the second one. I admit the third looks pretty cool. I still have a hard time thinking of skinny, ansty Anakin Skywalker as cool-ass Darth Vader, though.

I like the new ones. I don't like how things are more technologically advanced in the prequels than in the originals. The originals are still the best.

The Phantom Menace was okay; the lightsaber duels were excellent, though the starfighting scenes suffered by comparison.

Attack of the Clones was downright awful, excepting the battle scenes. It's essentially what would have happened to the Lord of the Rings movies had the sentimentality not worked as well as it did. I am of the opinion that they need to find a better writer.

Hopefully Revenge of the Sith will be better. I certainly hope so, for the sake of the franchise, but one can only give Hayden Christiansen the benefit of the doubt so many times.

i think the movies were decent. and yes, DECENT. i ddint hate them, didnt think they were awsome (what almost ruined episode 2 though are the aaaaaaaaaawfully awkard scenes between anakin and padme) and i liked phantom menace... although, naturally jarjars annoyance did it in, along with redoing most of the original storyline (anakin being a child, building C3PO, being jesus) warped my perspective.

Although, I sense that ROTS will be very, very awsome... I mean, HOW CAN LUCAS DESTROY IT?

based on the trailers i've seen too much has to happen in ROTS for them to screw it up too badly, unless its like, 4 hrs long.

The books rule.
Suncrusher was cool but what about the darksaber.

I say that the KOTOR saga offered the greatest storyline and the most uberest badassest sith/jedi ever. Darth Revan could wipe the floor with vader/yoda/sidious from his/her deathbed.... all at teh same time..... same with (insert character name here) from KOTOR 2, and HK-47 is WAAAYYY cooler than C3P0, and T3-M4 could outhack R2-D2 by 15 seconds in any kind of blocked internet site... and canderous is much more of an uber guy than Han-Solo, and Mandalore as well, not to mention that the Star Forge was an even greater threat than the infamous Death Star, Pumping out 10 star destroyer equivalents per minute is way cooelr than blowing up one planet at a time... i think i know too much about star wars...

The only way they can screw thisone up is by trying to make a story. I mean Lucas hasnt been able to do that yet. He can't write worth shit but he will try. His lead actor is horrible and i think i could do better but the others are good actors that have no material. I think the prequels were decent movies if there was no other star wars movies but the thing called star wars has expanded beyonf Lucas
He is mad he can't be a part of it.
He has not gotten me as an ally messing with the originals. You just dont do that. especially when there already regarded as awesome. Personally i spit upon what lucas has become.
However i still remain a star wars fan and hope against all hope he will learn to write a decent plot with maybe some good acting and not concentrate solely on cool light saber battles. Specially since i have seen better battles done on the web Smile

I was reminiscing through my star wars junk and again my point is brought up. I was playing through Kotor2 (again) and on Korriban i decided to enjoy the scenery and learn of the Sith Lords of old. Apparently, some sith dude named (insert name because i can't remember) was so good with a lightsaber, that he was considered good even for his time, wwhen everyone was 9 times the saber twirler yoda was. SO yet again, i stand my ground and say the jedi are getting WEAKER and weaker and weaker
