Nah, Hunter was the best. Some of us know.
Random question, but someone here ought to be able to tell me- what happened to the Forbidden Planet? When did it move from the NW corner of 12th and B-way and stop selling books? |

FB is still on the corner of 12th & B'way, and still selling books too.
Better yet, I went in their a couple of days ago and they were selling of the "Swarm Packs" of Aliens from THK for a buck a pack! Non too shabby!
Oh, I'm British and have lived in NYC for 5 years - just to keep this thread on track |

Nope, never been. But I'd really love to see it someday - maybe even live there. I'd probably get eaten alive by a bum or something! |

It's 'cause they're on crack.
What's in Florida? Old people and Hurricanes. We're expecting one tomorrow. Isn't that great? But it's only supposed to be a Category 1. So it's just a baby... _________________ Thank you for flying Church of England. Cake or Death?

| Yeah, my grandparents gave in, and bought a house in Florida to be with their friends. They got tired of being the only ones still in NY in the winter. But most of the rest of my family is in the metro area year round. |

YOU WOULD LIKE TO LIVE IN ISTANBUL? Brrrrr..... There is a such depressive contrast between the residential area and the filthy living cottages. (this is how it's periferic area looks like, in the center might be nice). Anyway, there is a good weather . _________________

Yeah, I went.
The highlights of my trip were as follows:
A guy punched me in the stomach for being on "his side of the street" (even though "his side" was already crowded with Japanese businessmen)
I nearly fell off the Statue Of Liberty, thanks to my jackass friends.
I was sick. Twice. Right around the time that the SARS "epidemic" was "plaguing" the nation. Great. _________________ I'm outtie, y'all. Lates. |

I've been to Manhattan many times. First time I went I was 15. Last time I went was two years ago during hockey season. Seen two hockey games at MSG, been to Liberty Island, crossed the Verazano Bridge several times to see hockey on Long Island. My buds the Two Man Advantage play punk shows there and in the city. _________________ "I do not feel obliged to believe that the same God who has endowed us with sense, reason, and intellect has intended us to forgo their use."

great! I'll get info - a buddy of mine might be coming as well - this could be a party event!
Oh, and first two rows of the orchestra are a designated "splatter zone" so appropriate dress is necessary. Or at least washable. |
