Besides Guerilla in January, Spider-Man 3 in May, and AVP 2 in August, this is the other movie I'm REALLY looking forward to seeing.
I just find it surprising Marvel actually chooses to do the GR, since he's not the most popular character. I dunno, but I'm happy.
Whether you like it or not, discuss it here. Only, you know, half-a-year until it is released in the theaters... _________________

I am really amazed how well Cage looks as the Ghost Rider/Blaze. I had my doubts at first, but they did okay.
The Rider himself is pretty awesome looking too. _________________

Never heard of the Ghost Rider? I'm heart-broken.

Good stuff, if you're into comics, look for the resently released Road to Damnation hardback book (or find the six issues seperately). Great story. _________________

*sings*
An old cowpoke went riding out one dark and windy day,
Upon a ridge he rested as he went along his way,
When all at once a mighty herd of red eyed cows he saw,
A-plowin' through the ragged skies and up a cloudy draw.
Yippee-yi-ya, yippee-yi-yo,
Ghost herd in the sky.
Their brands were still on fire and their hooves were made of steel,
Their horns were black and shiny and their hot breath he could feel,
A bolt of fear shot through him as he looked up in the sky,
For he saw the riders comin' hard and he heard their mournful cry:
Yippee-yi-ya, yippee-yi-yo,
Ghost riders in the sky.
Their faces gaunt, their eyes were blurred, their shirts all soaked with sweat,
They're riding hard to catch that herd, but they ain't caught 'em yet,
'Cause they've got to ride forever on that range up in the sky,
On horses snortin' fire, as they ride on hear their cry:
Yippee-yi-ya, yippee-yi-yo,
Ghost riders in the sky.
The cowpokes loped on past him and he heard one call his name,
If you want to save your soul from hell a-riding on our range,
Then, cowboy, change your ways today, or with us you will ride,
A-trying to catch the devil's herd across these endless skies.
Yippee-yi-ya, yippee-yi-yo,
Ghost riders in the sky.
This song has been recorded many many times. My favorite version is by Vaughn Monroe.
I like to sing this song. If you are feeling masochistic, and enough of you ask me nicely, I can record myself singing it, and post it here for you listening "pleasure." (not that I expect such to happen =D) _________________

I saw the trialer for it at the theaters. It looks pretty cool. He seems like a cross between Daredevil, Human Torch and Hellboy to me. _________________ Only the strongest will survive.

Yeah.
And Complex, @ song. I think Suicide's 'Ghost Rider' (or the cover by the Rollins' Band for The Crow OST) is a better one, since it's about the Ghost Rider.
But that's what everyone thinks when they hear 'Ghost Rider' and it makes me sad.
Or someting... _________________

No love for the Transformers movie? July 2007! There's a teaser trailer and everything.
www.transformerslive.com
The only thing that bothers is that Michael Bay is directing. He did Armageddon, The Island and The Rock. Brilliance.
Maybe it won't suck...

Who cares about transformers.
Also the Rock was a good movie. Pointless, cheesey, and stuffed with B.S. but a good movie as in 'entertaining'. _________________

Well, ya gotta understand which one came first. I have never heard of any other kind of Ghost Rider myself. It's not like I have my finger on the pulse of youth culture. Or early-20s culture. Or any culture.
Never mind. _________________

Ghost Rider is my fave. marvel character.
totally cant wait for the movie...good choice by casting Cage as Blaze/GR.
but now i am wondering (if there is a sequel) who would make a good Danny Ketch (the next GR after Blaze) Vengeance (purple spikey flaming skull and all) & Zarathos........hope this move will do as well as Spidey. _________________ -------------------------------------------------------
