Favorite Video Game Characters

jc denton : deus ex (i never even played the second one, maybe i should do that)

that joe pesci like guy : mafia (probably my favorite game EVER, just because i remember how it blew me away the first time i played it)

the funny american dude : no one lives forever (didn't play the second one either...i don't know, i never play the sequels to my favorite games. except gta. oh well)

guybrush threepwood : monkey island series (there will NEVER be a funnier character...)

stan : also monkey island series (...well maybe stan, but besides him)

and of course indiana jones, because whatever indiana jones does it's badass. except for the babylon thingy, that sucked.

This may be a bit of a long shot, but there was a dude in Baldurs Gate 2 who'd come up to you and ask you like 2402384 questions (i think his name was like Nobber or Neebler or something) and if you were patient enough to endure his idiocies you were rewarded with something cool.

Definatlely the most memorable game NPC : P

And then probably the gangs of hapless goons in Fallout2 that would cry "My SPLEEN!!" if you shot them in the arm, only to see them run off the edge of the screen.. and no way to kill them and steal the precious loot that they carried in their back pockets.

I hate those guys... talking about shit like that... the farmer dude in Modoc, whose kids you could marry, has a mission for you to guard his Brahmin from an attacking pack of wild dogs... I kinda failed the mission because half of the wild dogs ran off the screen and I couldn't kill them. So I went back to the guy and talked to him, he was kinda pissed because apparently the dogs slaughtered half his herd... Cool

Anyhoo... Dogmeat is my favourite character evah...

Isnt he that random dog that starts following you around if you go the the cafe of broken dreams? and he gives u bad luck : /

Uhm, you can pick him up at the Cafe Of Broken Dreams but I've never heard of him giving you bad luck. But have you ever played the first Fallout? There he is an NPC, one of the best. He easily kills 3 times more enemies than the rest of your party...

Yeah, it's better than 2 in some ways. It is smaller... less items, less quests etc... but the atmosphere is so much better and it's just... you know... better. I'm not saying Fallout 2 is bad, but the first one is better.

For me it's a very close tie between Sonic & Yoshi. Sonic is Bart Simpson, Tony Hawk, the Flash, and James Bond rolled up in a small blue furry package. Hyper cool! And Yoshi has better powers then both Super Mario Bros. put together! Very tough choice...

Well, which yoshi are we talking about here, becaus green yoshi is a lame ass fat bastard. Blue is the coolest, second place goes to red, yellow is japan running out of ideas and green is just basic.
James bond you say? But which one of them? Personally, James bond would have been a much more serious project if they had done it ala Jones. Indeed, Indiana Jones is if not the ultimate hero, he is a bit of a bastard, not always in shape, he has cool clothes, travels around the world, had most of his time fighting the good fight and most importantly he used his fucking brain rather than sheer strength. I forgot to mention a lil lady called kitty Pryde especially when she paired up with Collusus. What a guy. Did we ever catch him drinking vodka?

Mine are Cloud (Strife, not that wannabe in that one other Japanese game), Mario, Sonic, Link, and Predator (the one I'm talking about is ScarFace from Predator: Concrete Jungle. Not Jungle Hunter or City Hunter from the early SNES/Super Nintendo movie games).

Are you talking about Boo from Mario or Boo from The Haunted Mansion? If Mario, there are several versions of him. If from the Haunted Mansion, there's no one in there called Boo. If from somewhere else, there is a chance I haven't heard of him.
