.. if you were a mutant, what powers would you want to have?
Personally, I'd like some of Jean Grey's telekinetic powers (no, to telepathy.. seems like hearing people think causes headaches) and super strength.

I'd love to have super speed. I'd never be late for anything! Or even the ability to fly. But the top power would have to be like Colossus, I'd never get hurt when I'm in metal mode plus transforming would be cool...like...SHA-LING!!

Difficult one. Like every boy I dreamt of being Wolverine when I was young (those claws going *snikt* - oh well, it's probably a Freudian metaphor).
But being able to fly would rule the most. Especially if it comes with being able to rule the weather - so, Storm's powers would be my choice.
Gambit's powers are cool, not the one of charging cards with kinetic energy, but the one that enables him to talk smoothly to people, so that they agree with everything he says. It makes chicks want to kiss him all the time as well.

Juggernaut is not a mutant, technically. His powers are supernatural. Colossus is a badass and so is Storm, but if I chose my powers...
Magneto's powers, most definitely. He weilded the Golden Gate Bridge as a weapon. Damn man, just...damn. He can even stop bullets and stuff. And lets face it, metal is everywhere!!

I'm not sure if any of the official marvel superheroes can do it, but I'd actually choose to become a ghost-like-something, incorporeal and stuff. Think about it, walk through walls, be invisible, flying, invincibility to mundane attacks, and the absolute nut-cracker: possess other people, even interact with/control their minds.
It’d be totally fucking awesome.
And still the lack of body shouldn’t hinder enjoyment of the finer things in life, if simple telekinesis can manipulate objects and make force fields, there’d be nothing stopping me from walking around if a badass cloak and hat and pimp out. Yeah, I'd go around in this big cloak and hat, completely invisible underneath, laughing maniacaly. Dude, that'd be so pimped.

Hmm...of the existing X-Men, Nightcrawler's power would be the coolest, in my opinion. Wolverine's got attitude, but let's face it, it takes him forever to get from point A to point B. Quicksilver's got a nice thing going on, too, like all the Speedsters.
If it came to any kind of superpower, (this is going to sound stupid, but...) I'd like to be able to manipulate gravity. Change strength, direction, location, etc...it'd be like the flight plus the telekinesis all in one! Plus, I've always wanted to do chuteless skydiving...
