I'm so nerdy I pre-ordered the entire Justice league series including Unlimited. Lol. Also I watch the Power Rangers. I've been watching it since I was a kid. _________________

Well, if being a nerd implies you have no social life, then I'm not a nerd. But besides my social life, I'm pretty nerdy... _________________

I actually have a some-what thriving social life, as a matter of fact, but it;'s a curious scenaro: I don't know everyone but everyone knows me, it's quite unnerving.
Well I guess that's the case when you live in a zoo.
But yes, Mango* asked for proof. Here's mine: what else could I be if I roleplay as a giant anthromorphic , ass-kicking, katana swinging, brüe swilling, chick magnetizing Panda Shogun?
*Mango: As with Rommel Dunn (passingly Helmet-Boy, and now Stalin Dunn), I'll refer you by your original name, if you don't mind. _________________

This is true.
I am comprised of 80 percent geek and the rest a grab bag of nerd and dork. |

A nerd is like someone who likes for example...Star Wars.
A geek is someone who looks like Steve Urkel...and acts like him too...
And a dork is someone who's annoying...
Thats my explaination Frost...and I'm sticking to it! _________________

Nerd = For the most part, academic. Usually associated with little to no social skills.
Geek = Specialized in something, but not necessarily academic. Also associated with odd social skills.
I can't really think of a way to describe "dork" at the present moment.
Please feel free to add on or modify/change. _________________ "Yeast devil! Back to the oven that baked you!" |

Here is the hierarchy, in reverse order:
A dork is a person with no redeeming qualities whatsoever.
A nerd is a socially inept person. Nerds are superior to dorks.
A geek is a highly intelligent, socially inept person. Geeks are superior to both nerds and dorks.
I consider myself a geek. And I have the wallet-sized periodic table actually in my wallet to prove it. _________________

On the contrary, in my experiance, geeks are actually semi-celebrated where I come from.
But maybe that's because Canada is a century ahead the rest of the world. _________________

Are you sure about that Simon? >.>
I'm only kidding, but the country thats a century ahead of us is most likely Japan. They got robots!!! I'm sure in 10 years there'll be huge Gundam like Mechas being created for battle in space. I can't wait! ^_^
Wait...that was really nerdy of me. _________________

Sure, I just changed it because I didn't like having my name referred with perverted things.
But anyways, I am someone who would set off a nerd alarm. But I do have alot of friends, I'm pretty social. _________________ Only the strongest will survive.

'Mango' is perverted? How does that work? I've been nicknamed 'Mango' by my judo buddies for over a year now (no, I'm not kidding, I'm called Mango in judo circles), and nothing came out fo the gutter yet. _________________

Man, all the cool kids are defining terms now. I wish to be cool too and also! Yes!
I've got a good one, too.
Asshole n.
Someone who firmly believes that terms like geek, dork, nerd, noob, newb and n00b all have different, definite meanings and feel that they should share this knowledge at every possible opportunity. Bickering over the meanings of said terms is also a habit of the common Asshole.
But yeah. I admit being a total dork, geek, nerd, putz, no-life and what have you. _________________ bitchez n hose |

Nooo, that's not being an asshole. That's being portentous.
Trying to have portentousness being defined as being an asshole, is well, being an asshole. Or rather, it could be a prick. Either one would work nicely. They both have similar meanings but I am not that much up to par with the semantics of certain cuss words.
If you noticed, I am holding my sarcasm shaker and I am lightly sprinkling it here and there. |
