Dunno, mail is slow out here in the rurals, so I'll check the date on my magazine. Plus, noone talked about it here so I couldn't be sure if this was old news or what... _________________

Aside from the webcomic I do (and aside from Alien Loves Predator, of course), I have a handful that I read on a regular basis: Free Lunch, Joe Loves Crappy Movies, Shortpacked, Theater Hopper, Bigger Than Cheeses, Captain SNES, The Last Days of FOXHOUND, Questionable Content, Penny Arcade (naturally), Carzorthade, and Order of the Stick. _________________ I am what I am, and that's all that I am.

You really should check this out. It's about a sadistic shrink and his clients - kind of like Dr. Katz, but crueller. It's a daily comic in one of the quality newspapers in Holland, but this section is in English.

Damn, there was a webcomic I forgot to bookmark and now I've lost it in the mire. It seemed to be based on multiplayer shooters in general, although the gas masks looked straight out of Killzone.
Style was fairly realistic-looking.
The plot followed two members of the Red team in their attempts to survive and get out of the ruined city.
One recent comic featured a giant moth. [It just sits there. Doesn't try to suck out your brains or anything.]
Anyone know what the hell I'm talking about? [The moth is the most unique and memorable piece of info I have.] _________________ You can't look dignified when you're having fun.

How in hell did Gone with the Blastwave suddenly shoot up to no.1 on Buzzcomix?

Laika was a puppy who lived all alone on the streets of a city, called Moscow. She was homeless, which meant that she had to find her own food and that she had to sleep outside, even when it was snowing or raining. Poor Laika was hungry and cold most of the time - but when she wasn't, and when she was happy, Laika liked to run. When she ran, her tongue flew out behind her, and nobody could catch her. One day, two scientists met her, and they both felt very bad about her situation. They decided that they'd build her a new home. They told her it wouldn't just be any old home, but a brand-new home in a brand-new rocket ship. They would build it just for her, and there would be a button for doggie treats, they said. Laika could press it with her paw whenever she wanted to feel loved, whenever she wanted to feel extra special. Laika went into space when she was only three years old. And that was it. Nobody ever saw her again. There were rumors that she'd landed on mars, that if you looked hard enough through a telescope you could see her paw-prints resting in the red sand. Others said that she'd tried to make it to Venus, but that her rocket went off course and crashed. Nobody could say for sure. Worst of all were the rumors that she'd decided to just stay in orbit, circling the earth over and over. What did it mean that she wouldn't leave? There was nothing for her here. Nobody but the scientists had ever loved her, and they had both gone on with their lives. Her life on earth was over. Why would she stay? Her place was among the stars. Years later, when people had finally figured out how to build rockets big enough for humans, two astronauts went into space to look for her. They wanted to find out what had happened to the puppy they'd seen in papers when they were children. It was true that no one could say what had happened to Laika, but these astronauts believed they had a way to find her. They'd chase her footsteps across the sands of mars.

Wow, I have a post on this page from almost three and a half years ago. And my other list is fairly out of date; several of those comics have ceased to be since then.
Regular reading now (aside from my comic, of course) would be Order of the Stick, Shortpacked, QC, and Penny Arcade. Comics I check fairly often but which I don't read all the time or which don't really update enough to qualify as regular reading would be Carzorthade, Bigger Than Cheeses, Joe Loves Crappy Movies, Captain SNES, ALP, and VGCats. _________________ I am what I am, and that's all that I am.
