Gotta go with "The Pacifier" on this one. NEVER let your ten-year old brother decide what movie to see... This piece of shit was BAD. Well, this is gonna be the end of Vin whats-his-face's career... Laughing

"AVP", and "The Forgotten" are the two most idiotic movies I've seen recently.

no way! Willard was the worst! If you have never seen it, GOOD! My dad and I snuck into the movie because we had 2 hours to kill before our REAL movie and trust me it was a waste of film! I think we were the only people in it and this was opening week for the movie! If there was a section, this movie would be #1 on the MuchMusic "Fromage 200x" awards for worst. movie. ever.

This may get people on here really angry or something. But IMO I thought Napoleon Dynamite was the worst movie ever.

Oh god, they remade that too? Add another to the list of movies which weren't exactly great the first time but got all dressed up for a remake anyway.

The latest to blip across my radar was *shudder* The Amityville Horror. I saw the ad, and all I could do was stammer "But...but...it sucked the first time!"

The other day I saw Home on the Range, because I was curious about whether or not Disney's last 2-D animated movie would be any good. And it wasn't.

I would have to say Closer.

I have no problem with plays being brought to screen but this one felt far too forced. There was absolutely no flow and all the sleazy back stabbing came about from the most unrealistic circumstances.

Plus the dialogue dragged me to the brink of insanity with its banality.

Worst movie overall that I've seen was probably Spice World. The one that gave me the willies was Guess Who, the remake of Guess Who's Coming to Dinner - with Ashton Kutcher in the Sidney Poitier role.

How did that even happen? Shocked

THAT....was just rancid. And I guess the thing with the cat was just hilarious to people who hate cats, but I could have easily gone the rest of my life without it.

imrumpf, did they keep the horrible Michael Jackson song? Some of us knew that guy was weird maaaaaany years ago Laughing A love song. To a rat.

I dare not think of that movie every again. I just remember the horrible acting. I guess if you look up the OST maybe the MJ song will be on it, no idea really. It was a while since I saw the movie.

Apparently it's on there *twice* - once "sung" by Crispin Glover. Yes, this sounds more painful all the time. My profoundest sympathies to you.

Thanks, I only needed minor Psycological therapy. The cat part you mentioned, urbanshawoman, wasn't even the worst. The worst part was where the producer said "Hey, we need some TnA in this movie or else no guys will want to come and see it!" So at the beginning of the scene where glover decides to kill his boss, the boss is at work late looking at some porn website. That's the part when you see the guy reach for the mouse and get a rat instead. I guess they thought no movie was complete without older married men looking at porn late at night at work.... Rolling Eyes

So it wasn't even a picture of boobs...it was a picture of a picture of boobs.

Where the hell was the Razzie committee on this one?

Wasn't Willard also a book? I think it was pretty popular, but then again I don't read books. After watching the preview, it actually looks like a halfway decent movie. I haven't seen it, and had not even heard of it, but I may go see it anyway. I might like that kind of thing.

Another terrible movie was SAW. Oh god that was so boring. I went in thinking it was a scary movie and I guess it was a psychotic thriller, or maybe even a mystery. Stupid movie.

I just saw Closer tonight and good lord, it was the most pointless movie ever. No part of it was enjoyable, but I kept expecting it to get better, for all the fireworks to start. And then of course the credits started rolling. My objection to the back stabbing wasn't that it was contrived; it just bored me to death.

And What's this about a star-making turn for Clive Owen. I like the dude but I don't see what the hubbub was about. Natalie Portman was better, and not just cuz she was all hot n' stuff in those strip club scenes.

Don't see Closer. Download the Natalie scenes on the internet if you need 'em.

Mmmmm... Queen Amidala.

Lately, it's Robots. Looks great, but tastes like cardboard. Really, there's nothing slightly interesting about this thing other than the really slick computer graphics. And that's not nearly enough. It's like a cartoon meant for really young kids disguised as a Shrek-style animated film. There is not a single suprise, not a single really funny moment, exept for one that doesn't seem that funny anymore, Robin Williams is annoying and everybody else is just boring and bland.
