As long as we are on the topic of merchandizing: Bernie, if you start distributing and gaining profit from merchandise with aliens and predators on it, will you have to pay royalties to Fox?

Yes.

But nevermind the royalties issues, some companies won't even let individuals distribute. I recall a site www.jediism.org, a collection of Star Wars fans who took the whole Jedi thing to another level... and then started selling bumper stickers and t-shirts. Lucasarts shut them down in a heartbeat. Bernie, I love you... please make sure it's legal before doing something. Very Happy If I don't get my weekly ALP fix, I get cranky.
