As long as there's a steady supply of subtext, then I don't care about anything else.
I mean, I would love a kick-ass movie just as much as the rest of you, but if it's going to be similar in quality as the first movie, then I at least want some subtext like the first had.
Besides, think about it...
P1: Predator spares woman
P2: Predator spares woman with child.
AVP: Predator helps woman.
AVP2 and beyond: Dammit, there better be some touching.
