I'm going to totally freak out if anybody here sais that the Alien and the Facehugger are the same organism... and thus implying Aliens come out of eggs. Aliens do not come out of eggs.

If it turns out that the chestburster controls the facehugger from within, then they are the same goddamn organism.

A snail is within a shell right? The shell is a part of the organism, not a seperate entity. If the chestburster controls the facehugger, then the facehugger is nothing more than an elaborate shell.

Just calm down and give us some evidence that the facehugger is a diferent lifeform than the chestburster it contains.

Who ever said the Chestburster controls the Facehugger. The Facehugger just plants the embryo in the sorry motherfucker that couldn't dodge the giant spider with a tail, it fucks off and dies... ergo, Aliens do not come out of eggs, and Aliens are not Facehuggers at puberty...

If you're going to say otherwise, put up your own theory based on the evidence.

Also, if the chestbursters were inside the facehuggers, and the facehuggers were inside the egg, the chestburster would come out of eggs, from a point of view.

I don't think the embryo (caus it's still an embryo when it get's shoved down the throat of some sad-ass motherfucker who just had to look what was inside the egg) controls the Facehugger. I mean, it's only a small embryo, it has to focus on growing and getting to the chest so he can go "pop-goes-your-ribcage". It would then be way more convenient if the Facehugger could act on it's own.

And about the eggs, someone said that Aliens look like that caus they have to fit in an egg... need I say more. Ofcourse, if you put it like that, Chestbursters are present in eggs...

Since Giger and others have described the facehuggers as "ambulatory penises", and since the penis is, technically, part of the body, I'm pretty sure that facehuggers are indeed the same species as Xenomorphs. They're just detatchable. Or maybe I'm full of shit. I dunno.

What if the chestburster is a parasite of the facehugger. For example there are some bacterias that can take control of a crab, using it to reproduce and move, so probably the same case is between the chestburster and the facehugger.

Further on i do not believe that a predalien can become a queen. From what i know (which is form AvP: Extinction) only a pretorian(which is a "purebreed") which comes from a pretorian facehugger (which is bigger and more resistant than the normal facehugger) can morph in a queen. A predalien could turn in a queen but it could not happen in nature. It happened only after humans screwed with it and somewhow make one.

I never said Aliens and Huggie's aren't the same species. Just that they're not the same organism through their entire lifespan. As far as I'm concerned, an Alien starts his life as an embryo inside a Hugger, not AS a Hugger.
