I'm kind of jazzed about it too, and I don't play Halo. I'll have to see what King Kong is like, but that looks great, and if Jackson is able to pull off anything like what he did with LotR, it'll be awesome. _________________ The depressing thing about tennis is that no matter how good I get, I'll never be as good as a wall.

360,000? You can't be serious. That is no where close to even being an estimated price. _________________ Needing is Wanting

Peter Jackson and WETA will do an excellent job on this movie. In 2007, its going to put the people who say, "All movies based on video games are terrible," in their place.
I wonder what the decided script is? Halo? Halo 2? Fall of Reach or First Strike? Or will it be something entirely different? _________________ You forget one thing: rock crushes scissors. But paper covers rock... and

I'm really excited about this moive, I went to a local Barnes and Nobles and picked up one of the books. The Fall of Reah. Pretty sweet book, and PJ would be a fool to exclude this book from the moive. _________________ "It was really big and scary, like someone taped two ninjas together to make ONE GIANT NINJA!" |

I'm hearing alot of scripts, some different fromt the game. I really hope they keep it true to the Haloesque.
My opinion to the cast:
Director: Ridley Scott
Producer: Peter 'frickin' Jackson (of course)
Writer: Alex Garland (obviously)
Captain Keyes: Lance Henriksen
Sarge (Johnson): *not sure*
Voices:
Master Chief: Steve Downes
Cortana: Jen Taylor
Arbiter: Kieth David
343 Guilty Spark: Tim Dadabo
The rest of the voices would be the same from the games. _________________ Only the strongest will survive.

Or one of those russian mail order brides.
Those aren't really that expensive, or hard to get, you know.
The downside is, that she may murder you. _________________ bitchez n hose |

And what's the deal with those russian mail order brides... why would you wanna do that? I mean, if she only speaks russian and you don't, it kinda makes it boring... _________________

Sorry about resurrecting a dead topic...
There was a script that was supposed to have leaked a while back that was not bad, and was over Halo: Combat Evolved (the first game ). I cant remember where I heard, but I remember hearing that the real script was still being written.
Also, I was upset when I learned that Peter Jackson was not directing Halo, just producing it. And then I thought "What the hell is a producer, anyway?"
What does a producer do? How much will this help the movie? Why am I so illiterate when it comes to movies?
Also, does anyone know who the director is gonna be? Last news I read was that Del Toro (director of Hellboy) might do it, but would do Hellboy 2 instead if it came down to a choice?
I liked Hellboy. He did a good job with it. I hope they sign on someone good. _________________ You forget one thing: rock crushes scissors. But paper covers rock... and

As long as they follow the Halo books (Except William Dietz's horrible Flood book), everything will be kosher. From the Master Chief's abduction from his home planet as a boy to him graduating from the SPARTAN program at 14.
The one in the game is just a guy in a suit spitting out bad one liners. _________________ "The time for talk is over. Now we must kung fu..."

There are female SPARTANs in the book, and they're really cool. I forgot their names but a few major ones survive to the end of the third book, which is a prequel to the 2nd game. One is a sniper named Linda. _________________ "The time for talk is over. Now we must kung fu..."
