Aramor: I meant that if the laws of physics is the same everywhere in the visible universe, and we know it is, then everything in the visible universe is affected the same way just like every other thing. Gravity pulls on a pred the same way it does on a human, with the same force. The pred just jumps higher because it is stronger, not because gravity is weaker for it.
It would be more valid if you wrote that the preds were more capable of exploiting physics to a better extent than we do, or that they exploited the laws of physics differently due to environmental variables different from our own.
I wasn't saying that aliens are just like humans, I'm just saying those extra-terrestrials, no matter how different they are from us, must abide to the same shit we have to put up with. They may work with the laws differently but that doesn't mean the laws of physics are different for them.
I'm sorry if I'm not being clear enough, but this is junior high common sense I'm talking about. _________________

I think in an actual fight, the preds could whup a predalien, but if the hybrid were able to hide, and they didn't know it was there, it could probably take out a good many of them before they put it down. Consider that it has the hard shell, quick movements and wall-stickiness of a xeno and the independent, intelligent cunning of a yautja, as well as a tail-spear. It could drop on you from above and you'd never see it coming. And there are probably plenty of places to hide on board a yautja ship. And if it's cold-blooded like a xeno then thermal vision won't work on it. I'm not saying it will take over the homeworld, I'm just thinking it might have a fighting chance on the ship

Ey Holly, join the club...
Anyhoo, you're probalby right. It would kill a lot of the Pred's on board...
But I was thinking (yeah I know, there should be a law against that) but what if the PredAlien is more Pred than Alien with his thoughts and reasoning... would it still be one mean Xeno motherfucker or just an überPredator... _________________

| All evidence points to the contrary, Aramor. As was pointed out in another post (I forget which one), a predalien is still an alien. Is an alien that incubated in a human an uberhuman? (Sorry, I do not know how to make the umlats). |

Chestbursters apparently mutate during incubation to mimick their host. This does not mean that the alien partially beocmes a member of the host's species, or gains the hosts special abilities.
Basically the predalien is still an alien, but with mandibles, big muscles, a bad attitude, but the same mentality and intelligence like all other xenomorphs. Basicly the predalien, by your terms, is simply a 'one mean Xeno motherfucker.' _________________

Yeah well, like I said earlier... wishful thinking..
Anyhoo, I just have a button on my keyboard which i can use to do the " thingy. But if I press it and then press an A,E,I,O,U it becomes ä, ë, ï, ö, ü... cool ey. I can also do ú, ù and û...
Ok that's enough, people don't care what you can do with your keyboard. Oh shut up you, you're not allowed to post here. Yes I am. No you not, get your own account. Oh go.... oops.... _________________

Read all 3 alien vs. predator books, they go into large detail of the predators backgrounds and meanings. You'll learn alot more, even some of there language (not sure if its official) check out all of steve perry's books, even the just aliens ones...there good, so if you want to go more into detail of the predators and aliens background, check out the alien versus predator series...read the 1st avp book: Alien versus Predator: Prey, and see exaclty how oringinal Paul Anderson's AVP movie plot really is _________________ If it bleeds...I can draw it. - http://www.tichin.blog.com/ |

Prey rocks. It's the first of the AVP novels and all the others borrow from it. Actually, David Bischoff ignores a lot of what Perry set down, like mentioning some hunter having "wives" which is bogus. Yautja don't get married. But I would really recommend Prey to anybody interested in a little back information on the predators.
Although, according to Prey, some hunters carry an "animal loop" or voice recorder which they use to play back speech that they hear. In other books the yautja are able to mimic what they hear. Both could be right, but I'm not sure if either is official. The original Predator was able to mimic human speech and laughter, so I think that's as close as we get to official. _________________ The depressing thing about tennis is that no matter how good I get, I'll never be as good as a wall.

notice how much the avp movie is alike to avp:prey, yet anderson says his script is orininal? _________________ If it bleeds...I can draw it. - http://www.tichin.blog.com/ |

Well, I think he means original in that it's not adapted from Prey, but it definitely shares many of the same plot points. I like Lex and I think she's very cool, but she's no Machiko.
I still think they should have adapted Prey. Maybe someday. But probably not. If I ever become an animator *snort* I'll make it my life's work to bring a completely faithful animated adaptation of Prey to the big screen. It will be sort of like Titan A. E. in style, like Spawn in goriness, and like Princess Mononoke in beauty. It will be glorious. In my own mind. _________________ The depressing thing about tennis is that no matter how good I get, I'll never be as good as a wall.

They probably look at us as retarded dirt there most advanced preds prob have an (earth) iq of... 600,000,.I just say that there so much smarter there able to do these things. And finally maybe on there homeworld there are materials to do these thing.Like i said i had to post _________________ CRY HAVOK and let slip the DOGS of WARRRRR. MATH POLICE!
One does not add a factor, one mutliplies by a factor. (Unless you were being glib).
Also, adding another zero (i. e. multiplying by a factor of ten) with each step is already equivalent to exponential growth.
