A friend lent me the game a couple days ago, so I havent had too much time to play it, but for the moment I find it awesome (playing as aliens) if later on, a couple people would be interested in playing online (If I can get online of course (haven't tried)). _________________ Cogito Ergo Sum....Bitch.

I have the game and would play online with you. _________________ You forget one thing: rock crushes scissors. But paper covers rock... and

I might be able to get in on the action, but I'm a little rusty. _________________ Context is everything. |

I would volunteer, but my PC is presently held together with string and chewing gum. Maybe if I manage to save some money for a change and fix it... _________________

Just replace the chewing gum with ducktape and it'll last forever...

The Skirmishes were what made AvP better but AvP2 is more of a teambased multiplayer thing, the aliens can even work together to keep their ubertank (the queens and praets) alive by randomly pouncing through the air. _________________

I never played Avp1 but I absolutely adore AvP 2. I recommend it if anyone hasn't played it yet. The singleplayer was good. The multiplayer is awesome. _________________ You forget one thing: rock crushes scissors. But paper covers rock... and

Ohh yeah. "A Lesser Fate". Heh heh. I remember all the spawn points of the third level, the one surrounding(?) the facility. Getting to Queen is pretty easy in that map. _________________ Certified Evil Bastard. Serving your cuppa at Starbucks Terminal One Arrival Hall, Singapore. The one who started Premium Evil's tea. |

What was the daytime equivalent of that map? the one with everything exactly the same but the center platform is missing the towers? _________________

I can't exactly remember the name.. but it has a person's name to it, something like '*name* *something*'. Can't remember the exact name though.

You must be thinking of "Lucifer's Fate."
For the record, they are not daytime/nighttime versions of one another, they are just similar. _________________ Context is everything. |

Ahh, yes, Lucifer's Fate. Quite an okay map, a neat place for the runners.
I guessed Tripper described it as "daytime equivalent" because the map does, in the way the lighting of the enviroment is done, make it seem to be A Lesser Fate's daytime equivalent. _________________ Certified Evil Bastard. Custom levels are created by players, for the players. As to how the levels are created is another story. If you've tried to create (mind here, create from scratch, not edit pre-existing levels) your own maps in games like Vampire: The Masquerade and Max Payne, creating the AvP II levels should be quite alright; the map editing and lot is of that level of difficulty.
The best place to look at is the Net. Look around in discussions boards and stuff. I'm quite sure the Gamespy and Fileplanet boards must have a cobwebbed thread of AvP custom maps somewhere.. well, that's the best I can help.
I personally tried creating the Max Payne maps, but looking at how much work I had to do, it's a little scary. Heh. _________________ Certified Evil Bastard. Serving your cuppa at Starbucks Terminal One Arrival Hall, Singapore. The one who started Premium Evil's tea. |

That's pretty much it. But there are online tutorials about creating your own levels. _________________ Certified Evil Bastard. Serving your cuppa at Starbucks Terminal One Arrival Hall, Singapore. The one who started Premium Evil's tea. |
