Well, right now it's 10:49, so I didn't celebrate, but I brüed eggnog at home today. Take an egg-yolk or three, sugar, milk, blend it all togther, and then be very liberal with the rum. That's some mighty fine brüe.

well my sister, starting at 4:30 pm, began hauling out all of our rums and vodkas and stuff and just started mixing stuff together. she downed 3 shots of vodka, 1 shot of burbon (not sure i spelled it right but who cares), made something called blue kamikazee, and about 12 mixed drinks. then, she decided to make a drunken phone call to her mother, then we all played scattergories, and trivial pursuit: 90s edition. all i can say is that i damn near wet myself, i was laughing at my sister so hard. if you ever want to see something funny as hell, watch somebody play scattergories and trivial pursuit drunk. in scattergories, there was one category labled "things that are black" and she put "the help". my mother damn near killed her on the spot. and during trivial pursuit, she too busy laughing too answer the questions. oh my god, it was sooooooo fucking hilarious!!!

I spent most of my day at work.
Then I went home and watched "Lolita" (the Kubrick version that I received for Christmas; I love it!) and some episodes of "The Family Guy" while having a post-work drink to destress. I also ate a big ass piece of chocolate cake.

I went out to one of the local events called "First Night" and watched some Flamenco and belly dancing, and a nice Santana cover band called The Chicano All-Stars. I almost didn't go because it was supposed to rain, but it cleared up so that's cool.

So far I haven't gotten drunk but that could change at any time.

me and my girlfriend spent this new year's eve alone and we had a hell of a time! we danced a lot (music ranging from primal scream to beatles 'love me do' Very Happy

) we drank some but not to get pissed, only to keep the enjoy-a-meter high, i played guitar and we sang some old songs together, and we made some sweet loving too, which was awesome, and then danced and sang some more...
one of the best new year's ever!
and i came to share this joy with you all Very Happy

This was my view for the night. My friend has an office on 46th St right above Times Square. I felt so superior to everyone down on the ground.
Everyone brought wine or champagne, and I brought 2 cases of White Castles. It was great! Very Happy

Well, I was going to go to my sugar-momma's house and watch a movie, then... <insert euphemism here>... but then it started snowing so bad that I wasn't able to get to her place, so I spent New Year's at my parents' house.
