Because everyone loves politics.
I just visited Nationstates, to see that my old nation had been erased off the face of the earth. I started a new one and though I'd link this thing here.
Basically, you're given a nation, about 5 million people, a bundle of flags to choose from(You can make your own, too) and an opportunity to thrust your opinions forth a bit.
Then the nonstop orgy of fun begins! No, really. It is pretty fun, considering you have the patience for this.
Each day, you're given one, or two(You can decide which) choices about a random something(Do you give funding to the airforce, or the navy, or just stash it in the treasury? - Give foreign aid? - Declare your country officially catholic?). It will take a day for your decision to take <effect and change your nation's description.
Not really a "game" in the traditional sense, but it's still entertaining. You can really let out your inner Castro, Putin or Clinton and improve upon where you think former leaders have failed.
...or just go crazy. Seriously. At one point, my old nation had a law that forbid you from using any form of transportation, other than skateboards.
I already know that a good bulk of you will just think of this as boring.
Well fuck you.

Nah. That's just a temporary motto, anyway. I just wanted a change from the old "You are free to do as we tell you!".
