Engeland and the Netherlands are always my favorites, besides them Argentina and Brazil have a good chance. Australia hopefully will get an asswoopin' because I think coach Guus Hiddink is an arrogant piece of sh.. the PSV-b*sterd. _________________ The Office UK rules, The Office USA rules 2! |

Hell no, I've never liked the man, not even when he was head coach of the Dutch squad in 1996 and 1998. He's so arrogant it makes me sick. _________________ The Office UK rules, The Office USA rules 2! |

also definitely not Poland, and it's tough for a patriot to say it, but that's how it is. our football sucks so much we should be banned from all international competitions for 20 years.
so, although my country has qualified (miracles happen at an intriguing rate in Poland) i will as always hope for the Italy team to win something at last! been an Italy supporter since the Roberto Baggio era and consistency is one of my second names. _________________ i have no time for anal love

My toughts
Group A:
1. Germany (Hosts which is an advantage, always grows troughout the tournament)
2. Costa Rica (To weak to surprise)
3. Poland (Not to underestimate, able to reach second round because of the weak group)
4. Ecuador (Mystery to the Dutch, but we will play a friendly against them before the tournament starts)
Group B:
1. England (Great team! Great offence: Rooney, Crouch, Owen.. superb midfield: Beckham, Gerrard, Lampard... nice defence, but lacking a good goaly)
2. Paraguay (Used to be great watching Chilavert taking free kicks, not so great without him.)
3. Trinidad & Tobago (Dutch coach Beenhakker, no pressure and can only surprise)
4. Sweden (Great team... with former Ajax star Ibrahimovic and current Ajax star Rosenberg. Outsider)
Group C:
1. Argentina (One of the best teams on earth and definitely a favourite)
2. Côte d'Ivoire (Strongest African team. Chelsa's Drogba, PSV's Kone and former Feyenoord star Bonaventure Kalou who is current Feyenoord player Salomon Kalou's brother. Salomon wants to play for the Netherlands instead, but the Dutch government won't grant him a passport so he went to court. We don't know the result yet)
3. Serbia & Montenegro (Former Yugoslavia, great team)
4. Netherlands (The Orange squad is different this time. No real stars but a group of friends. Coach van Basten used to be one of the greatest players, will he be a great coach? Number three on the fifa ranking)
Group D:
1. Mexico (Pretty strong team and able to reach quarter finals)
2. Iran (Crap)
3. Angola (Go home!)
4. Portugal (European top squad and able to win this world cup)
Group E:
1. Italy (So strong.. great defence, great offence.. should be able to get pretty far)
2. Ghana (Strong African team, but African teams never win)
3. United States (Could reach quarter finals, but will definitly not win)
4. Czech Republic (Number two on the fifa ranking. Regular opponent for the Dutch)
Group F:
1. Brazil (Number one on the fifa ranking, best team there is. Everybody's favourites)
2. Croatia (Nice squad, will probably not survive group stage)
3. Australia (Dutch coach Hiddink, who I do not like but seems to be miracle worker. We shall see)
4. Japan (Used to be quite nice, could survive the group but will crash and burn in the second round. Will compete with the Aussies for 2nd place in group F)
Group G:
1. France (Hey! 1998 champions, Euro 2000 winners... but that was the old team. This team is still very strong, but just doesn't seem to have the same drive to win)
2. Switzerland (Great against Turkey in the playoffs, but don't have a shot)
3. Korea Republic (Dutch coach Advocaat can only let the Koreans down, if they demand the same succes as Hiddink's Korea of 2002)
4. Togo (Don't know 'em, don't care)
Group H:
1. Spain (Sleeping giant, never to wake up)
2. Ukraine (Like Russia, physically strong)
3. Tunisia (One of Africa's great, but no one will underestimate them anymore)
4. Saudi Arabia (Why do they even compete?) _________________ The Office UK rules, The Office USA rules 2! |

I think the Netherlands could be the dark horses for the competition.
England have the squad to do well, but they don't have a coach with the balls to change things, so they'll be semi-finalists if lucky.
Brazil are the favourites for sure, their attack is just unbelievable, and any team with Ronaldinho at the minute is going to destroy. If he avoids injury, Brazil win.
The Italians aren't a great team anymore, evern Scotland got a point off them in qualifying.
The Germans reached the final with one of their worst squads ever, so witha better squad and at home, who knows what they can do. _________________ By the time you realise this sig doen't actually say anything it's already too late to stop reading it. |

| Well, being half brazilian half english, I used to cheer for Brasil till the betrayal of 98. When what some say that the brazilian team was possibly bought out by Umbro, so I moved my Loyalty to the three lions (England) and it's been there since. Personally, I had a dream that it was going to be Germany and England fighting for the cup in berlin but as always england got shafted and was put on the opposite side as brazil. Most likely Brazil will be in a final but I don't think they will win. It will be nice to see england make their second star 66 and 06 would be sweet and it would shut the locals (Brazilians) that think that they are invinsible. As always the argies get the "death" group an I have a good feeling that the dutch team shall do good but the germans aint gonna do feck all... hahahahhahah |

I'm English but I never pull for England because their team is usually made up from all the metrosexual chavs from Premiership with the biggest inflated egos.
While I don't believe they'll win it, I've decided to throw my lot in with Paraguay. I like them as being a darkhorse team who gets no respect although working hard for results |

Sexuality, sexual prefrence and dresscode isnt really relevant on the grass. Sure chavs are wankers but the Brazilian team are nearly all ex-favela (slum) residents but it's fine cause they are from the third world and you don't have to deal with them everyday right? |

The winner will be the team that scores the most goals in the final match.

Oh now he's driving it forward and - what's this? A giant panda just ran onto the field! He's got the ball! He's now driving it forward... Oh the Brazillians will feel that in the morning, and, THE GIANT PANDA SCORES WITH A LONG SHOT!
PANDARIA WINS THE WORLD CUP! _________________

In this case, uncharacteristically, I was not being sarcastic, merely ironic.
Plus, I understand that Shoguns (Shoga? Shogs?) have more important things to worry about than biological nomenclature. Running their empires, scoring World-Cup-winning goals, studying math, etc.
It's cool. _________________
