If you're all into reading graphic novels, there are a couple I'd suggest:
1602 - just got into this. Marvel characters back in the date 1602! Something happened with the space-time continuum and...the world might get destroyed? It's by Neil Gaiman, who I love....
The Invisibles - so far I've only read the first two chapters which are confusing as hell, something about a secret society....
The Losers - A US special ops group gets screwed over by the government and now they seek revenge...awesome dialogue.
Any other suggestions
(note I was reading over the favorite X-men post and I noticed a couple things that were a little weird. Cable is a really powerful telepath but because he has some kind of disease, he has to use his power to keep this disease from spreading and killing him. Besides, he's already a badass just by toting big guns. Professor X has some talent in telekinesis, but Jean Grey is the main one, but I think Professor X has the craziest power, especially when he becomes Onslaught, holy crap he reigns hell.) |

Fables! (though this isn't a graphic novel, but a collection of trades)
Red Son (an elseworlds Superman thing)
Rising Stars (like Fables, a comic first. Only 24 issues tho, which is now available in one massive hard back trade)

The Ultimates is a great read. Second run has become an excellent "Who done it?"
The Walking dead is a well done survial story. Plus is has Zombies.
Also I Believe Marvel Zombies will be a fun book. It's basically Sliver surfer Vs a zombie MU. _________________

A good one to read is "Kingdom Come".
The story is another of their mass character kill off, but the artwork is superb, the plot great and it show how much of an idiot Superman is. |
