I didn't. I try to avoid watching parades and have been quite successful for several years now. But I did hear about the balloons getting snagged and hurting (2?) people...! I snickered when I heard about it because I am a terrible terrible excuse for a human being.

You're so evil. I love it. I always use the 'it's funny because I don't know them' defence if people get offended. Mr Chainsaw likes to read problem pages and laugh at people's trivial issues and dilemmas.

its a parade held every thanksgiving in manhatten, new york. its like the biggest damn parade in us history. it lasts for about 3-3 &1/2 hours long and they always have some celebritys like this year, they had rihanna performing "Pon de Replay", aly & aj performing "Rush", the cheetah girls, click 5 doing "Catch My Wave", christina applegate doing a number from a broadway play & showing more talent than she ever did in movies, animal planet bigwigs jeff corwin from "the jeff corwin experience" (i love him, hes a total nut) and keegan michael key, the new host of "the planet's funniest animals" (he sucks, i liked matt gallant better, they should have kept him), al roker, leann rymes (i probably spelled her name wrong, but whocares), and carrie underwood. it was really spectacular. and yes, two of the balloons did collapse, well, actually, one did actually fall on top of people (i think it was the M&M balloon), and Pikachu got snagged on a telephone pole and almost fell, but didnt. yeah, they had to haul in ambulances and everything.
