One year in the books

One year ago today I launched aLp with 22 episodes in the archive. in the past year I got a job, bought a house, had two kids - on the same freaking day - and even though I'm pretty much always half-asleep while I'm writing this nonsense, now pushin' 150, you still come and you indulge me. Really, thanks... I couldn't ask for cooler fans.

To celebrate the anniversary, I'm announcing the 2nd contest in 3 days... it's the aLp Drawing in 2's Contest. For the next 2 weeks, collaborate with 1 or 2 other people on a drawing of an undocumented scene from aLp, and you could be one of 3 winners to win an autographed 8x10 glossy print of a choice of episodes. Since the real gold mine of this prize is my signature, I'll be happy to sign other things you send me in the mail too. Including body parts. Go check out the contest details and have some fun.

The ELIZA Contest is also still playing, though I'm shortening the term to 1 week, because there's already a ridiculous mountain of entries to dig through.

Awww, totally awesome. I would collab with Andrea since we've got this "holy sisterhood of yautja fangirls" relationship going on here...she draws and I color and do touch-ups but unfortunately, school has her out cold and I really can't think of anyone else to collab with. And I really wanted to mail myself to New York so you can sign my right breast and then I can get that tattooed in professionally! Ahh, good dreams <3

Greetings from the UK! Bernie - thanks so very very much for making TUESDAY my favourite day of the week - Coz I am in Cambridge, UK, the newest comic strip comes out after I have left work on Mondays, and then I get the latest release on Tuesday morning when I come to work ... I have far too many favourites to be able to pick just one, but I have printed off so many now that I have had to purchase a 'pocket book' for them to go in, so I now have a massive aLp "coffee table book" and have recommended your website to dozens of people! I found you as a link from the Corrosion of Conformity (rock band) website!?! Go figure! The UK salutes you! Your weekly strips make me laugh so much! Hope the twins are OK, and the job aint boring you too much - keep up the excellent work!!

Cheers to the most awesome comic online, you really shoud try to make some money out of this stuff Smile

You deserve it, and the comic really is gold.

And... PLZZ give Theo some more space in the comic. He just showed up recently, and haven't had that many appearances but he has already become my favourite character Smile

He's just so laid back, and look really elitist (Makes me wonder why he hangs out with Abe.. ) and he's just funny being there, without using too many words of comic.
