| Quote: | Ok, so you want to post an image huh? It's really very easy.
For now, you can't upload images to this site. So the pictures you can display in your messages have to already be online (we'll soon allow uploading of pictures, but until then feel free to upload them to The Raven's Realm).
1) Go to the webpage where your picture is located.
2) Right-click on the picture and select "Properties".
3) Copy the URL in the properties box. Then Click the IMG button when you post and paste in the image's address.
Remember that you should not copy the address of the page that displays the image but rather the address of the image itself. One way to tell that you've done it right is the last few characters of the address. It should have the filetype extension of an image file (something like .jpg or .gif).
Caveat: Not all servers allow you to do this, geocities for example will not allow "hotlinking" so you can't use photos from geocities for e.g.
If you need a place to put photos I suggest an MSN group for now. Eventually we will have this configured to allow you to upload photos but for now this is going to have to wait because photo uploads can easily be abused. |
Source.
Google is also your friend. _________________ plz to be visiting my board of predator debauchery |

The neck and the waist are the hardest part of a xeno to draw, tho. _________________ You forget one thing: rock crushes scissors. But paper covers rock... and

There is something sort of "off" about the way the neck connects to the ribcage. I think the ribs are a little too small, they should be more pronounced, or something. It's hard to say. I think it's an excellent drawing, I like how you went with the old-school face instead of the more recent wide-opening mouth with dagger teeth. Much more reminiscent of Giger's original drawings. Now do a Predator! _________________ The depressing thing about tennis is that no matter how good I get, I'll never be as good as a wall.

I think its just the angle. I've been drawing xeno's for years and if you ask me, Thats a very hard angle to draw them at. Part of the reason it doesn't look proportionate has somethings to do with the fact that not all (or much) of it is visible. _________________ You forget one thing: rock crushes scissors. graphic novel is a snobbish term for snobbish people who would rather die than admit that a comic is an independent branch of art. so they came up with the meaningless label so that they can watch the sin city movie and say "wow, this was based on a real graphic novel, not just some idiotic comic book". it's unbelievably hypocritic to me. _________________ i have no time for anal love

Personally, I use the term graphic novel to indicate a bound softcover or hardcover volume of sequential art that was originally published in said format. This is done to differentiate it from a trade paperback which is a collected volume of previously published comic books. But I'd generally argue that judging a creative endeavour by the medium in which it is displayed is the domain of a total fuckwit. _________________

My picture doesn't really fallow the exact look of the aliens...it's sort of my own thought, but mostly I really wanted it to look more like the original Giger alien...I really like the "mechanical look" behind it.
