So I woke up to some jibberish from the outside.There was this chick arguing with her ons or whatever.She was constantly jelling:''give me my key'' I said to myself wow maybe shes gonna smack him upside the head with this nerby 2x4 but:wrong.She pulled down her pants and i could see she was badly shaven.what a wonderful way to start the day

I once woke up caus in my dream me and some dude were arguing and then he shouted something at me and all of a sudden there was a loud thunder... thingy... at the same time when the dude in my dream shouted... really weird...

Not daring to click on that one. But I have a comment on it. What's with all the shaving of public hair anyway?
I mean, when I was a kiddo getting into seeing naked women say 13 years ago, this was not the case. Completely shaven venusmounts were considered as something rather perverse back then. So the mass disappearance within 10 years of something's that's usually hidden anyway has always struck me as something odd. It's the kind of thing I find myself wondering about after a visit to the sauna.
So I started to ask around. First my housemate, who specialises in nudity (being a theatre scientist doing her Ph D research on nudity in Dutch theatre during the 20th century). I took one of her coffeetable photobooks from the shelve, opened it before her nose and asked:
What's with the shaving?!
She started some odd story about hairlessness being a sign of perfection, then moved on to discussing girls in the delicate age in which they start to become interested in sexy lingerie...
So I asked my professor. She reacted enthusiastically and started to discuss her son, who's a gothic and apparently shaves his entire body, which she linked with the dandyism and decadence of the late 19th century. Also, he is into piercing. She started to name his piercings one by one...
I think I'm through asking people about this...

No, probably just a typo.
I don't understand it, either. Hair is what separates you from children. I think it'd be absolutely wrong to shave it all or have my fiancée do it, either. I don't want to look like a pre-pubescent, and nor would I want to be having sex with someone who looked pre-pubescent in the netheregions. It'd just be wrong.
I know people don't feel the way I do, but I think in my mind I'd be thinking that it's like doing it with a child... I don't need that kind of mindfuck.

It's probably just the logical continuation of the pursuit of the hairless ideal which has been at work for quite some time.
It's also quite possible that the increasing prevalence of, and relaxed attitudes toward, porn (in which hairlessness serves a visual function) have contributed to this phenomenon.
Personally, I have never been picky of pubic hair on a woman, provided that it doesn't totally get out of control. If it does, it gets in your nose all the time. I can see livewire's point about the possibility of being unconfortable in the total absence of hair, but you might be surprised what one can get used to.
For myself, I find a little hair as possible to be aesthetically appealing. Not to mention the fact that perceived size is relative. 
Wow, that was my first TMI post in a while, and damn, it felt good.

your housemate wasn`t wrong when she said its a sign of perfection. kinda like how society shows being skinny and light-skinned as symbols of beauty. they do it to look pretty.
other reasons.. some do it for hygiene (ugh, especially during menstruation). or possibly because of religion or tradition.. like in some societies, Islamic being one, its equivalent to circumcision, brushing your teeth and cutting your toenails.
