Actually it is. Because if those people were around a football game, then they know of the obvious chance that they could get injured. Like if you go to a nascar game, there's a chance you might get hit in the face with a rouge tire.
Not to mention that it seems that these people knew each other; they may of gotten into a fight but in the end they were still friends.
But I was on a sidewalk...in a rural neighborhood...Walking home from the store with my purchases on my arm. And these assholes in their car came up while I was turned away and tending to my heavy bags and they SHOT ME like I was an animal. I wasn't in some "bad neighborhood" and I didn't give them the finger and I wasn't wearing provacative clothing or gang colors and I wasn't playing a game. This was TOTALLY unexpected.
There is an obvious difference and if anyone here would like to prove me wrong, then I expect a full essay that if I copied and pasted into Word with 12 size Times New Roman font, then it would span 4 pages.
Other than that, I see that there is a BIG difference between the two.
Maybe if you don't want people like me to be so pissed about paintball, then perhaps you should try to teach the idea that it is not a good idea to go joy riding and shooting innocent bystanders to your fellow players.

No, I agree, those people who shot u are total dipshit assholes. But don't hate paintball because some fuck ups decided to be idiots. They don't know the true spirit of paintball and should have their marker taken away.

protective gear keeps paintballs from smashing your glasses to billions of little razor sharp pieces centimeters from your ocular organs. but you dont wear glasses (i think) so ill just change that to "protective gear keeps paintballs from gouging your eyes into your head and allows you to continue posting here on the forum without a brail keyboard."

Wow, that's pretty elaborate. I would wear camo pants, a sweater, and combat boots. The mask would be provided when we got there. Also, weaing a cup was always a good idea. I was never really shot in the groin, but I would hate to be without the proper protection.

Actually, I do wear glasses. I can't see shit without. On the few occasions that I actually paintballered around, I took them off.
I just shoot when I think I see movement.
Is anyone else reminded of Cobra Commander's original outfit?

| Yeah... if it's a decent gun, and you're only wearing a t-shirt, it stings, and you'll get welts. The way my buddies and I played a couple times was the pansy way: with cheap pump-action guns (pump before each shot, as opposed to semi-auto), and wearing like 3 layers (it was chilly). |

yes, yes.. and you can actually make yourself run faster if you have a heavy gun... or not. and you can do stuff that you usually cannot do in FPS. like climbing, crawling etc. too bad no Bullet-Time in the real world.
