We know that lengthy process of Aliens and face-huggers, but what about Predators. Do they mate and lay eggs, do what Aliens do, or some other strange twisted way. You're decision.

Well, we know the mothers feed their kids milk, and they're sort of like proto-mammals, not quite but also not reptiles...so I would guess they're born like humans. Live births, or maybe eggs, but I don't think they have a complicated process like the Aliens do.

Mebbe they reproduce like frogs...... He gets on her n humps her in d water! Then their jellylike eggs will be incubated by sunlight... Isay this because they needed 2 stay warm in AVP. Guess they're amphibious.

You have to look at the mass ratio and biomorphology. Aliens are meant for folding and supremely fast growth rates, so they can fit in an egg, and are very skeletal. Predators are way to big with too many developing organs and tissue. It takes time to grow like that. Aliens are much like snakes born ready to kill out of an egg.

But still, Aliens do NOT come out of an egg. Facehuggers come out of eggs, they HUG YUR FRIGGIN FACE, then they plant an embryo (!!!) inside your chest, then the Facehugger detaches from your face and after a while it dies. Then the embryo comes out of your chest and it's called a Chestburster, and that becomes the Alien. So Aliens do not, I repeat, do NOT come out of eggs. There, it's all very logical. And you can't deny logic. |

Right, so, back to the orignal topic, I think the predators are probably hatched from eggs. I just can't accept the idea of something with glowing green blood being born live. They're a crazy looking race on par with the platypus (a combination of a duck and a beaver) or Michael Moore (a combination of a human and sausage). Just judging by the mandibles, I get the impression they've got a lot of insectoid...ness... ocity... in their inherent nature.

| I think they're born like humans. I'm sure that the mandibles are soft, flexible, and basically toothless for the first stage of childhood. Like human babies. Bones fuse and harden, teeth develop and push through the gums, that sort of thing. That way a vaginal birth would be quite possible, and not so painful. Well, not more painful than human birth. |
