I just recently played the single player demo for FEAR. wow...

The awesomeness is overwhelming. I need a word more powerful than outstanding to describe. The lighting and shadow effects are beautiful. The animations and A.I. are damn near perfect. The physics engine and the debris are heartstopping. I would also like to note that it scared the crap out of me.

And it just makes me think... Imagine if they made a Third Aliens vs Predator. What if it had those gorgeous, jawdropping graphics and effects... Imagine a predator, uncloaking; its armor glistening in the moon light. Its stalking throught the shadows, waiting for its prey. The flashlights of a group of nearby marines cuts through the inky blackness. The predator charges his plasma caster and fires, the bolt of crackling energy illuminates everything on its way to the target. It strikes. Clouds of debri escape into the air as soldiers scream in fear and pain. An alien drone, unseen by the predator, crawls throught the darkness; the shadows mixing with its own dark exoskeleton...

But then again, I hope to God they would make a console version (for the Xbox360, please) of it because my computer would not be able to handle it. (I played the demo on someone else's computer.)

So, do you agree with me? Should they make AvP 3. What do you think they should change from the old ones? What do you think they should keep?

The FEAR engine isn't the engine for this kind of game. Doom 3 engine. Now THAT just oozes AVP.

And then you should still be able to shoot a Xeno piece by piece, like with the pistol in AvP. That's just awesome. Just turn on God Mode, and try shooting his inner-jaw out of his mouth Wink

I agree that the Doom 3 engine is best for an AVP game.

Hell I'd even settle for an Aliens game using the d3 engine.

In the first Avp game you could shoot the inner mouth out of the aliens.

I used to shoot off the tail inner jaws and one hand so they were almost helpless

I fully support the idea of an AvP 3. That'd be good ol fashioned fun. I also want a game with a third person camera, like in concrete jungle, only more open ended and where you can choose between yautja, xenomorph, or human. I think that would be a great time. I'd never ever do anything but play.

I also think that someone should make an all predator game that is like the Knights of the Old Republic games where you would start out as a lowly young predator. You would go on hunts to other worlds throughout the galaxy, building skill and gaining weapons, items, and clanmates. Also, you should have the choice to become either a military pred or a hunting pred. (Hunting preds would go on hunting missions; military preds would go to war with xenos and stuff.)

Well, in a game that allows you to do both (or more) you can play as what you want, then go back and strive to be the others.

In a game such as the one stated above, what would a predator use for currency? Honor points, like in Extinction? That doesn't make much sense. However, there has to be some sort of currency so you can buy stuff.

Yeah, I guess trophys would make good credits... but why would you need money? You could just make it like the LotR games, where you just get XP for the enemies you killed and you use that...

i have a alien VS predator 3 game on the pc you start off as a newborn alien then you need to sneak away to the city and the people go crazy when they see you

HELL NO.

NOT D3 ENGINE.

Graphically not bad, but jesus christ, it's open GL, i use an ATi, have pity people...

Howeeeever...

Unreal 4 engine will be great though.... AVP3 could go on U4 engine, +++ U4 WILL supports Ageia PhysX Cards.!

PhysX = Heart.

if not then U3 i guess but still, great gfx, and DirectX and not opengl
