Good on you for having varied tastes. The idea that you can only like one specific sub-genre of music is a ridiculously childish notion. People who only like death metal, or only like punk, or whatever are only interested in being part of a clique. So to look 'cool' in front of their friends they slag off all other genres. I hate genre Nazis.
