Oh man I just finished it on my Gamecube. Damn that was a great game. The graphics, the story, and the revamped playing system all are out of this world. If you haven't played it go buy or rent it. You will not be displeased. I promise.

Yep, it surely is a contender for greatest game ever. Did you finish it properly? ( Top rank on all mercenary levels, all the infinite ammo guns etc? ) If not do that, it's a damn good excuse to play it again. Plus you gotta love the fully upgraded hand cannon. Resi 4 is the reason I kept my gamecube.

yeah it is the best game of this year.but it starts to suck when you play it over and over again.now i'm doing it speedrun style.my best so far is 3 hours 45 mins

it was realesed in spring/early summer. Play it. They totaly reworked the whole series in this game and trust me that is a good thing. It comes out for playstation 2 soon. The graphics will be dumbed down a bit, but they are adding in more story line. I want to buy it but I poor

There also somthing special about picking up a sawblade and throwing it at a zombie and beheading it. Then proceeding to smash all the other zombies with a car, blowing them up with compressed gas canisters, and whipping a paint can on a zombie and actually killing it.

Seconded. There's something about having 2 health and getting a fast zombie with your last magnum round a second after resuming from your autosave.

Or launching a brick with a see-saw (teeter-totter, whatever you non-dutch speaking people call it...) by throwing a paint can on it and hitting one of those police dudes...

| Preordered the limited edition for PS2 from Gamestop... also Soul Calibur 3. According to a friend of mine (who is an RE fanatic - owns all of them; the original, the Director's Cut, 2, 3, Veronica on Dreamcast, 4 on GC, as well as RE:make and RE Zero) RE4 is the absolute best, ever. |

Re4 is arguably the best game evar FULL STOP. PS2 version looks butt ugly though. Anyone who even vaguely likes games and hasn't got this: Get it!
