1./ The preferred format is .jpg
2./ The winning image will have the.magazine’s logo put over it at the top and the bottom so please allow space for it. We’re not likely to chose an image if we’re later going to spoil it by putting lettering over it.
3./ Most of the images we have received are comic characters, but this does not mean it’s the only thing we’ll consider. Go nuts, be original, create something unique…. And save us the hassle of e-mailing the legal departments of various companies every month.
4./ If you do draw a comic or film based character please remember to add the copyright information to the base of the image. If you are using the likeness of an actor it will take about 20 days to gain clearance for the image since we have to ask the publisher and the distribution company for permission to use the image.
5./ If your image in not chosen one month it doesn’t mean it won’t be used. There have been a few images we’ve liked so much we’re holding for a special occasion and other’s we will use when it is more pertinent to the content of the.magazine. |
