I'm not really into the slasher-type horror films, so I kinda held back on posting. I have no problem with gore or violence (I think the first non-children's movie I was exposed to as a child was "Full Metal Jacket;" probably explains a lot). I need a plot that will keep my attention, and a lot of slahser movies lack that. I like 'em like "The Shining" (the original Kubrick version) and "Don't Look Now".

Zombies, living dead, and skeletons can be hard to take seriously. Think "Bruce Campbell vs. the Army of Darkness". It isn't a horror film by any means, but still.

It's also hard to find good Death roles. I think the last good one may have been Death in "the Seventh Seal".

Sorry but I had to go with Jeepers Creepers.

I have a friend from michigan that is absolutly terrified of that movie.
Its a blast when she comes down because there are areas where I live at that look just like the places in the movie. So every time she comes in and we go some where I make a special trip by one of those places. And every time we go by the sun is going down (she is always not paying attention to where we are)and I look over real quick at her and say Hey shanna dose this place look familier to you?
She freaks and starts screaming for me to get her the f*ck out of there.
Then she says that shes driving next time. But I always end up driving and I do it to her again! Twisted Evil

This spring when she came in was the best. We went by the same place and there is this big corn field there and at the exact moment when I bring her attention to where we were at this guy props a scarecrow up in that field!
Lets just say I had a bruse the size of a softball on my arm for a week for that one!

But what can I say ohter that that was the greatest moment in my life when I seen her face! Laughing
