I had the hugest hard-on when I first heard about it, but I don't really know that much. I'm actually at the verge(is this even a real word?) of seriously updating my computer to play this game. And when I say "seriously", I mean "seriously". Want a hint on how outdated my little snotpump here is? For my RPG-y needs, I play games like The Dark Heart of Uukrul, Darklands and Anvil of Dawn.
THAT'S-A ONE OUTDATED-A MEAT-A-BALL.
...
COMPUTER.
Sure, I have newer ones, but you get the idea.
Is this one centered around fighting, too? I hate that about newer RPG's. The only skills you can get and/or ever will need are combat ones. At least Menzoberranzan required to you have a goddamn dwarf to read dwarven. _________________ bitchez n hose |

I made damned sure Blaster didn't want this before I offered (since he was so enthusiastic about this game) but he rejected, so a lucky one of you will get a chance to play in the beta of D&D Online, first one to PM me will get the PCGamer submission/application codes for a chance to mess around and fill out paperwork... _________________

I have a friend who's beta/playtesting it. It looks... okay. I like the character customization stuff. I made a hot-ass elven ranger chick. As for the play itself...eh. Nothing super special as far as I'm concerned. Spells are done through mana points. Which, I don't get at all. I don't know anything about the tabletop Ebberon setting: It that the way they did it?
Since it's pay to play, I imagine I'll be passing on this one and waiting patiently for NWN2. Hell, I'm almost to the point where I'm gonna reactivate my GameSpy account so I can play NWN online again. And it's free! _________________ "SUPERMAN HATES MILK WITH THE FIERY INTENSITY OF A THOUSAND SUNS!"

Ok, so the game has had me sucked in for several days now and I haven't been able to bring myself to post here for a long while, but now I have reason to. If anyone would be so kind as to buy/play the game we could start a casual clan for aLp on the Khyber server. For those who would like to talk to me about refer your ingame questions to Imohen Bhaalspawn or Irenicus _________________

Damn, it's really tempting. I just don't think I can afford to devote so much time to a game right now. _________________ Context is everything. |

It actually doesnt take very long at all to do anything, each quest is a about a max of half an hour and the lag is surprisingly nonexistant becasue of the "instance" network. So if you're willing to devote maybe 2 or 3 hours a week you could hit level 3 by the end of march. _________________
