This is a great doom movie: The DOOM Project

Still the first person view could be vastly improved for realism, such as making the gun shake a little erratically.

Also why run aorund with a BFG? Any real player knows you whip out the BFG only when the occasion calls for it: Hellknights, Mancubi, Archvile, and when desperate: Revenants.

For me I run around with a shotgun in small rooms, plasma rifle in corridors, and the chaingun in large areas.

I always wondered where the marine stashed the bfg... in his pants probably.

A real soldier can carry one or two handguns, and perhaps two rifle-size weapons if he works out often.

I was watching a low quality video, so I may not have seen as much as you guys, but the first person sequences that I saw looked very nice to me. And who knows, maybe by the time its on the big screen they will have added more realistic elements.

Still guns shouldn't be held out with outstretched hands where the weapon waves around like a wand...

At least what we've seen isn't near to the ergonomic nightmares of star trek weapons. The phaser pistol is a freaking remote control. Who in thier right mind would use a remote control as a weapon?
