No. I don't really believe that. I actually like the Doom's, the AvP's, MGS's as much as I like the Halo's. Plus, this is just my opinion, and who gives an ats rass what I think.
Also, while I'm talking about other games...what do you people like about Killzone? Seriously, it was a good try and a good idea, but the game wasnt really good. The enemies were cool tho. I'll bet Killzone 2 is going to blow the first one out of the water. My thinking is that they probly learned from their mistakes...the first one is WAY too linear for one thing.

What I like about Killzone? Words can't describe it...
Way too linear? Well, don't you get tired of shooters who claim to be completely non-linear as in you can choose multiple paths to get to your objective, but because of that the game is still linear because you can choose between the sneaky path, the rambo style full frontal gun blazin' assault path, and one in-between... and that's all there's to it. Ok, some games don't have that, but they're just copies of GTA
Killzone the Halo beater? It's a completely different game. It's like comparing horses with sheep...
