well ive been reading reviews for the movie AVP. And like everyone says that it sucks. Personally i think its a good movie. Except when the human joins the predator he shouldve killed her right there. Id like to know all of your opinions on the movie.

I haven't seen it yet personally...I want to though 'cause I LOVE the Alien movies. Can't say I've seen any Predetor ones yet though..

I loved the 'AvP' movie. Frankly, I'd been waiting since 1991 to see a movie with ALIENS and PREDATORS on-screen TOGETHER, FIGHTING EACHOTHER. And you know what? That's exactly what I got.
'AvP' was some of the best fun I've had at the movies in many, many years. Was it a cinematic masterpiece? Well, no. But then again, I wasn't expecting one. I got exactly what I wanted.

However the Anakin turning to hte dark side should have been stretched out into Episode 2 more. Anakin turning into the second most-evil badass in the galaxy in a couple scenes jsut seems strange to me.

It already was in Episode 2. Remember the Tusken Raiders? That wasn't very Jedi of him. Or the outbursts of hatred against Obi when he was fixing something. Or when he started talking about how the Republic should be run with someone forcing them to agree. And he didn't really turn in a few scenes, it actually took most of the movie for him to turn.

I was kind of pissed that they took a character like Bishop and used the familiar face to lure you in, even though it was really a scientist, and then offed him like that. Cheap. Also, there just wasn't enough substance to the movie. They crapped out on the plot and character development... It was missing something vital, though I can't quite put my finger on what exactly it was. It was fun to watch, but I don't think I'll buy it. My sister got it for my dad, so I'll just watch it at his place if I ever want to see it again. Good for filler, but not much to contemplate - if you know what I mean.

Edit: GAH, I hate typos!!!!
