Charles Slutz. He lived in the city north of me. There's a band too that is from my lovely little Bay Area... I can't remember their name off the top of my head, but I know they did the song "Headstrong" (headstrong, I'll take you on, headstrong, you'll take on anyone, headstrong, and you are wrong, headstrong, headstrong). _________________ EA . devART . sketchBLOG |

Oh hey, I knew I spelled it wrong.
Charls Shultz >_>;;;; Creator of the Peanuts cartoon and Snoopy and all that.
(though, on a side note, I swore that I saw a real live pimp last time I was in San Francisco. It was awesome. Old black dude + white pinstriped suit + cane + awesome hat = win) _________________ EA . devART . sketchBLOG |

I'm gonna change my name to "Slutz", though. _________________ bitchez n hose |

I didn't have any one famous where i'm at in chapmanville wv (OMFG this place is BORING!) but the guy that played grimma wormtounge in the lord of the rings and the voice of chucky grew up where my brother lives at in huntington wv. And there are countless bluegrass stares that grew up in the countys next to mine. (Logan county wv is BORING unless you ride the hatfield maccoy atv trails.) _________________ My buddy is a polterguiest.

You mean Brad Douriff? My favourite creep. He's been in Star Trek, A:R and LotR. He's awesome. He also did the voice of Chucky? Wow, creepy bonus +10...
Second Chucky movie (only one I saw) was lame btw. I mean, do you really have to kill him 3 times before he dies? _________________

OMG you didn't know that he did the voice of chucky. I agree with you Aramor he is cool. I also agree that the movies are sucky when it comes to being scary but the every one says they are ment to be a comedy after the 2nd one. And yes you do need to kill him 3 times in bride of chucky they did all kinds of shit to him before he died. |

I grew up in the town where Scott Joplin invented ragtime.
He wrote a song about the place he worked as a piano player, called "The Maple Leaf Rag." It was the 1900s equivalent of Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit" or the Beatles' Sgt Pepper. It spawned ragtime music.
So every first weekend of June, we have to endure a week's worth of old-timey-ness. It's like a Renaissance Faire except you don't get to see girls in peasant-girl bar wench outfits. (Guys in seersucker suits and thatch hats, crap like that.) Meanwhile the town gets all weak-kneed and wet in the cr0tch over the long-dead musician for a whorehouse near the train depot. =)
