Nope, strictly masculin names. The Womens convention was bitching about how femininly named hurricanes would imply that they are lower than men... or somthing like that.

We'll subtract 10 points for an incorrect answer (they alternate male and female names), and you'll be assessed a 10-second penalty for making shit up (Women's convention?).

Pardon my ignorance. quite frankly I come from a place where the worst we get is minor flooding, being snowed in, extreme drought, and wathcing as the portapoty in the field next to your house gets zapped by lightning and melts (actually happened, what are the chances eh?). We know nothing about hurricains, and I never did research into the subject. I just heard all hurricains had masculine nomenclature. I was wrong, sorry, and i didn't know there was a scoring system, but how about I keep the points and someone of the female sex kicks my ass?

If that smelled even half as bad as I'm imagining it did...ecccch!

Five points off and I bite you gently. Wink

Sure, where you gonna bite?

The thing was pretty far away, I couldn't smell it. But I could see it was mostly vapourised and what was left melted.

Lightning can be damn scary, for all that it's beautiful. Raw power, thoroughly pissed off.

Okay okay, you can bite me in the shoulders... wait, you once said you were old, ancient... your teeth are rotten... i don't want rabies! *runs away*

It's even more awe-inspiring when you learn that that a lightning bolt is hotter than the surface of the sun...

Spooky

Also, when that thing struck it was almost deafening. I was in the kitchen at the time and flash, boom, "holy shit".

Ah, but I'm an ancient *American* - I may not have any other goddamn health care, but my teeth are great Smile

And it's only Internet ancient, which everyone reaches at 30.

You know what'd be cool? Hurricane Cactus Assrape. If a hurricane named Cactus Assrape hits anywhere and you mention it years later, EVERYONE will know what you're talking about.
