Well, I say it was your subconsciousness that made that stylistic choice, because you secretly wanted to merge the most badass of the Turtles with the most badass of the Watchmen. I don't blame your subconsciousness - it's only logical!
Seriously though, the patterns on his chest are so much like the symmetrical stains on Rorschach's mask that I instantly assumed that was the point. My bad for reading too much into it. _________________ i have no time for anal love

I get it, no worries. If it makes you feel better you may run with that! _________________ "I do not feel obliged to believe that the same God who has endowed us with sense, reason, and intellect has intended us to forgo their use."

But they weren't stains.
The dress was flowing... and if I remember correctly, a "real story" was worked into Rorschach's back story as Kathrine Genovese was named as the chick that order the dress and the story of people watching her get murdered really happened in the 1960s... or so the Germans would have us believe. _________________ "If wishes were horses, we'd all be eating steak." |

U is for an Ugnaught getting jacked by an Underpants Gnome. As if Bespin Cloud City wasn't drafty enough, now he'll be suffering from some serious shrinkage. I guess it helps explain the Ugnaughts' grumpy expressions...

Here's a digital painting I just finished. It's part concept art, part photoshop/Wacom practice.
It's been so freaking long since I've linked an image on a forum. Let me know if it doesn't work/can't see it.

Nope. Nothing intentional at least. But I'm not naive enough to think that there isn't influence. Doom 3 and its art style has had a huge impact on my work.
The original facial design was inspired by spider features, but I am aware of the resemblance to the Doom 3 imps.
Edit: That being said, I hope it doesn't look too similar. Not too worried about originality. I did this to practice my tablet skills mostly. _________________ You forget one thing: rock crushes scissors. But paper covers rock... and

Still working on my "X" drawing. Slow going, because I want it to be right. But this is my WIP here.

So I haven't been able to finish my Xeno drawing yet, but every day for the past couple of weeks I've doodled a Star Wars character on a coffee cup at work.
I post a pic of each cup to Twitter every day. Here are a sampling.

I think you may have hit on a marketing niche there, Smiley. Unfortunately, you'd have to give Lucas your soul to capitalise on it. _________________ Da Fro-mastah of da aLp Forums!
