Picked it up yesterday. Looks pretty good, though I haven't played it yet. Anyone play this one yet? Generally, I'm a fan of Bethesda products.

It's an id product, mate. Also, don't get it on PC just yet. It's a buggy mess so far, especially for amd card users.

Is it Id? Bethesda must somehow be involved though -- I remember hearing about it on their newsletter. Anyway, I picked it up for the xbox, so hopefully, not so buggy.

Bethesda and id are both owned by Zenimax. Bethsoft just published Rage I think, they certainly weren't the developer.

And yeah, apparently the game works fine on consoles. The whole megatexturing bollocks is apparently more friendly for console architectures than for PC.

Xbox version is on 3 discs. Spent a good 30 minutes or so and this game is fantastic. Great graphics and I think I recognize John Goodman as one of the voices.
