Ok, been watching this as it has been on HBO. Granted, when you have kids, it is hard to sit through an entire movie in one sitting, but I think I've grasped most of this in the 10 or so times I've watched different parts of this movie.

IMO, it is great on so many different levels. Though I also saw The Hurt Locker and thought that was also great, do people think Inception should have won the Oscar? Does anyone know if there is "talk" of a sequel for Inception?

I've read the wiki on the movie, but there isn't much talk of a sequel. What says you?

A sequel to Inception would be like Bioshock 2: It wasn't needed, but the first was a financial success so they'll make it anyway some day.

The sequel's actually being considered for a video-game. How that's actually gonna work out is really interesting.

I watched this for the second time this past weekend at my father's house. He'd bought the DVD a while ago but he hadn't seen it yet, so I made him and my wife watch it. They both thought it was very good. Especially on his HD LED TV. It looked utterly fantastic, even considering the SD DVD.

The second time around it seemed even better than it did the first time, but not just because I knew what was coming. I was looking for flaws and really didn't find any. That made it more impressive and enthralling.

I'm convinced that people who hated it are just too stupid to understand the complexities of the layers of the dream state portrayed in the movie. It's one of the best movies I've seen in a long time; I'd watch it again and again.

It'd be an exaggeration to say it changes lives, though it's definitely worth the watch.

I completely agree. I've only met one person who was actually genuinely disappointed with the film (she's old and dislikes any new 'cool thing' coming out these days), and another who refuses to watch it because he thinks DiCaprio's an idiot.

I'd have to say I was a little disappointed with it. After putting out something as awesome as Memento, I expected a little more from Nolan. I found the nested realities a bit clumsy and obvious, and the movie obviously got preoccupied with its basic premise, and forgot about the importance of decent characterisation. Highly entertaining flick all the same, but I really don't see what all the fuss was about. It was hardly The Matrix.

You sound like you're trying to sell us TVs...

Anyway, still haven't seen it. Might get around to it sometime.
