I read it in 2 days. Felt like I committed the crime for a week. _________________ "If wishes were horses, we'd all be eating steak." |

Lister et al. An Introduction to New Media
Second edition, to be precise.
It's sort of reading up on what happened during the last 20 years when I wasn't really paying attention, with all this world wide web and videogames and stuff.
Nesxt semester, I have to teach this subject. _________________ The Justified Ancient of Mu Mu |

Confessor, the last book in the Sword of Truth saga. I've got it since Wednesday and I almost finished it, thanks to my internship being a 1.5 hour bus drive away. _________________

Unfortunately, I think that that book is going to be outdated by next semester. Freakin' progress. _________________ "If wishes were horses, we'd all be eating steak." |

Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea by Jules Verne.
It's for an English course I'm taking. On science fiction. Later books I'm gonna read are The Time Machine by H.G. Wells, The Difference Engine by Bruce Sterling and William Gibson, The Diamond Age by Neal Stephenson, and The Affinity Bridge by George Mann.
I think this class is gonna be made of win. _________________

I decided to read some of the books my Great-Grandmother left for me after she died. I'll get started on The Brothers Karamazov tonight before bed. I have to be gentle with this book...since it's older than me. _________________

I read the new translation of this one a few years ago. While I don't recall much about this one, I think I liked it. I vaguely recall liking "The Idiot", but that, too I read adecade ago. _________________ "If wishes were horses, we'd all be eating steak." |

I've taken to rereading the entire Witcher saga, the fantasy series upon which the game was based. Currently at the beginning of book 2 (of 7).
The last time I read it I was in high school - it's every bit as brilliant as I remember. _________________ i have no time for anal love

Currently reading the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy trilogy. Yesterday I finished the second book. It's fun, but I bet all you guys already knew that. _________________

The Hunger Games Trilogy.
Finished the first and second books. Waiting on the third. Im liking the series so far. The whole concept is interesting. The books are full of suprises at times. Though the second dosnt compare to the first IMO and the ending of the second is a bit cliche and obvious. _________________ Clueless and the Grammer Unerwnschte

Nron can read? Am I the only one surprised by this?
j/k
I've heard good things about this series. Sounds like an orphanage/teenage fight club. They are at Costco is a special shiny package. _________________ "If wishes were horses, we'd all be eating steak." |

I finished The Affinity Bridge.
Basically, it's a steampunk attempt at a Sherlock Holmes-style mystery. With robots. And airships. And zombies. And Darth Victoria.
I would really have liked it if not for the fact that the author just had to throw in a perpetual-motion device in there, without any realization or consideration. _________________

Finally got my hands on a copy of Mostly Harmless, so I'm reading that right now.
Before that I was halfway through the Hunt for Red October, and I gotta get me the rest of the Farseer trilogy books, because I got the first one for my birthday and it's awesome. The good thing about my intern-ship is I have a lot of time to read, with the 3 hour bus ride everyday. _________________
