Holland won! Hooray! Although I'd have to say it was one of the worst matches I've ever seen. How both teams didn't get 4 or 5 players sent off for continous, cynical foul play is a testament to how little control the referee had over the game.

It is pretty sweet. I'm terribly sorry, but I'll be rooting for whoever wins tonight's match though. Holland are just too cynical to support. How van Bommel gets away with his thuggery is beyond me. Go Germany!

In all honesty it's the Germans that deserve it most, being the best all around team, and I do hope they win the whole thing. it just seems right.
