FYI -- There are some typos. Apparently, I'm guilty of not reading my emails in their entirety and didn't realize that it was sent out for people in the group to look at BEFORE we send it out. Anyway, I'm pretty sure we can still use the data so thanks to those that filled it out and for those that will fill it out.

Thanks to those of you that took the survey. We reached 100+ filled out surveys which was the goal. I'll post the results after we finish processing the data.

ANYWAY, as for the update. Here are the results: Of the 100 people that filled out the survery, Chameleon Paint was tops followed closely by Melt-Away rock and Syrup Bottle. According to the teacher (and this man is an industry man, not academic), the formula is as such: Purchase intent is a scale from 1-5 with 5 being definately buy. You take the percentages of responses in each category multiply it using the scale and double that number. That is your purchase intent. For the New and Different factor, the scale is 1-10 (again, 10 being tops). Multiple the percentages in your reponses by the scale and that is your N & D score. Add them together and that is your product score. If that score is a 7.5 or higher, you go to the next step which might be prototype development, focus groups, etc. Our top product almost cracked a 7, but the spread was clos in the mid to high 6s for the top 3. As some may point out, the products could have been better described. Also the scales were opposite -- high score was on the right hand side for PI whereas it was on the left for N&D so that could have influenced the results
