Alien Queen

I have a question....

If the Alien Queen was able to grow a womb and give birth to the Newborn...why did the newborn look more human than Alien? The queen may have had human traits but its offspring should not have acquired a human appearance...right?

The queen was cloned from Ripley. There was cross-species DNA contamination, hence Clone!Ripley having acid for blood. The newborn was birthed from the queen. Ergo the newborn is technically Clone!Ripley's grandchild or something.

Don't think too much about it, it's a dumb sci-fi flick.
